Masoud Nabi When John is talking to Henri, Henri says that there were 19 aboard the ship, but there were only 9 gardes and 9 legacies. 9+9= 18 not 19. I think this will be important because a new character no one knew about may come up.

Patrick S. Dialogue is especially important to this book because John, the main character, has to lie a lot to keep his identity a secret.

Masoud Nabi "like ghosts. They were pale, almost like albinos. They wore sunglasses, but when we wouldn't talk one of them took off the sunglasses. They had black eyes and pointy teeth, but they didn't look natural.Theirs looked as though they had been chiseled. They all wore long coats and hats'(245-246). Dialogue is important because it allows for the mogadorians to be described. Before this conversation happednd they are is no clear description of what the mogadorians look like. This is important because as readers we want to know how/what the enemy of the main character looks like.

Masoud Nabi Dialogue plays a very important part in developing the plot.Dialogue also keeps the story flowing. Without Dialogue all we as readers would read would be everything in the point of view of Four.

message 8: by Masoud (new)

Masoud Nabi Dialogue is important in this book because it one of the ways John is able to talk about his powers and the way he feels to other people. This is how he connects with other people.
