Ryan.Phelan Dialogue plays a big role in The Outsiders. Traits about the characters are revealed through their dialogue. For example, a conversation between Two-Bit, Johnny and Ponyboy reveals how Two-Bit is more than just a quick-witted kid. It revealed that he was serious and sympathetic kid. What do you guys think?

Vincenzo Spiniello I think that you explained Two-Bit very well as a quick-witted kid. How was he revealed as sympathetic?

He is revealed as sympathetic when he is speaking to Dally and Johnny in the hospital. He shows how he is sympathetic and caring of his friends that were seriously injured. Two-Bit doesn't crack another joke about them, he cares about them. When S.E Hinton used her dialogue I revealed this about Two-Bit
