Aidan.Muldoon You are able to analyze dialogue in two ways. For instance, what the speaker says and how they say it. In the book "The Mysterious Benedict Society" is there dialogue since there is a omniscient narrator. So far there hasn't really been tone because of the narrator. Does anyone disagree?

Aidan.Muldoon Thanks for the feedback! That will hep me out later to keep my eyes out for more dialogue.

Aidan.Muldoon Also, does the narration change to create more dialogue, or does it stay the same?

Aidan.Muldoon The dialogue At the beginning of Chapter 2 describes Reynard Muldoon very concerned because of the many question marks. This allows the reader to understand the tone of the dialogue. The tone shows scared and worry because Reynie can't call his tutor and is wondering if she is looking for him. Dos anyone disagree with the tone?

Aidan.Muldoon There is also a lot of dialogue before and after each test between the characters. Maybe the author did that purposely to foreshadow that the specific characters Reynnie talks to will be friends with later.

Aidan.Muldoon The dialogue coming from the character Sticky Washington shows him as a very unique person. For example he says stuff that make him seem like a very worried person a someone who stresses out a lot. The way he says it also makes the reader tell that he freaks out a lot over little stuff. Sticky Washington is a very interesting character.
