Dialogue

Dialogue is by far the definitive aspect of the stories, (in my opinion). However, which characters do YOU think were defined and understood through dialogue, and which through thoughts? I think that Harry, Snape, Voldemort, and Hermione were defined through dialogue. Ron, on the other hand, is my favorite character that was mostly based off thought. Especially in Order of the Phoenix, when Harry thinks of whether Ron is superior, and whether he is good at Quidditch, it was one of the most interesting parts of that story.
