Cara thought about what Cryaotic said. "But aren't you guys like related in some way or another???"
He shrugged, "Maybe. Not sure, I can never see her past or current thoughts, same as she cannot see mine. We are equals. It's why we stopped fighting. Or at least why I did. Being equals we could not defeat one another, and so we allowed the world to be in balance. And that is why we created the reapers. To keep balance" he muttered and sipped the soda.
"Balance seems to be very important," said Cara. "That's why you guys don't like interferring do you?"
Cry glanced up, "I don't like interferring because I know in the end no one will win without great sacrifice. And I plan on sitting on the sidelines and watching. I don't really know which side to take either. While one has a point and the other has a point... it's perty hard to decide. And so I really just try to observe." he yawned.
"No kidding, now I totally understand how you're Aeliana's father," said Cara rolling her eyes. She couldn't help wonder why he was so laidback, no wonder god always stole his snack bars....
He sighs and sips the soda contently, his eyes on the Italian plumber, "Speaking of which, when she talked to you did she say anything about me? It seems we haven't talked in a while" he asked.
"I haven't talked to her in a couple of decades - which is why I find it so strange that Juju had met - but when we did, she did whine about you being missing and called you an old lazy crackpot," looking at Cryaotic, she shrugged, "Her words not mine."
He smirked silently, "That snack bar took so much energy to make... and all that damned stalker is good for is ruining my snack bars.. I just wanted to take a nap.. That's all.." he pouted softly.
Cara smiled, "Nothing to say about her rudeness? Fufufu, my father would have given me a beating..."
He shook his head slowly, "I've been called worse by homeless midgets. It really isn't that offending" he replied.
"You're completely easy going, aren't you?" Asked Cara, shaking her disbelievingly, "No wonder the Lady above steals your snack bars."
"I think she's jealous because I make the best sandwiches ever" he mumbled and continued to play.
"Lol maybe if you give her one, then she won't steal the snack bars anymore?" Suggested Cara watching his game.
Cry shook his head, "I refuse to make her a sandwich. She banished me after all." he chuckled faintly as he reached a highscore.
"Psh thought you guys got over thatlittle disagreement, didn't you give her Kusanagi as a sign of peace?" Cara pointed out.
He nodded, "Yea. I did. It was a nice sword and I honestly don't have anything against her at the moment. No, I don't like her. But I'd choose her over a lot of different people at the moment" he mumbled.
"Fufufu you guys are strange, though considering we were all born or created by you guys, it's no wonder there's so many nuts running around...." Cara pointed at the screen.
He nodded, "Strange is a familiar word when it comes to me. Well, anyways. You said you wanted to learn how to use mind barriers." he glanced up.
"Oh yes! I did, gonna teach me now? I still have your details somewhere..." Cara fished around her skirt. Which when she thought about it, she really needed a new skirt.
He yawned and stood up, stretching softly, "It's actually pretty easy, considering your a master of illusion" he murmured.
"It is?" Asked Cara surprised. "But my powers aren't as strong in the day...even if I can use a substantial amount of them in comparison to some" Cara muttered the last part.
"Well actually, humans can set up mental barriers too. It isn't much of a power, but being a illusion demon you can do it a lot easier." he put his psp in his pocket and sighed.
"Fair enough. So what do I do?" Cara got into a kind of fighting stance...taking this a little too overly serious as though she was walking into a hand-to-hand combat.
Cry approached her calmly and placed a hand on her head, ruffling her hair with a chuckle, "This is mental combat silly" he said. He sighed and pushed his mask down a little, looking her in the eyes and transferring a bit of power into her before pushing his mask back up.
Cara blinked and straightened up. "I knew that," she said waving her hand about. "So what was that?" She asked head tilted slightly to the side.
He shook his head, "Don't worry about that. You should have a heavier feeling on your shoulders now, do you?" he asked.
Cara felt the weight sinking in, her shoulders had indeed grown somewhat heavier. "Yeah, I feel it."
He nodded, "Good it means that you have at least one barrier up" He murmured. "Every time you put up another barrier it makes you feel a bit more heavier. That's the price. Though it's worth it" he murmured.
"Whoa, is that what it's like, I didn't even realise I had a barrier up...." Said Cara rolling her shoulders.
He nodded slowly, "And you just need to focus that energy with your mind. Kind of how you imagine your illusions. You see them and tell yourself they are there and they show up. Imagine that there are barriers blocking your mind, you'll feel heavier depending on your mental stability" he said as he scratched the back of his neck.
Cara focussed, imagining barriers arching high and over her brain, like a metallic dome. She felt a great weight sink on her shoulders and wondered if a metal mind barrier was too much... "Oh I think I'm pretty mentally stable..." said Cara, deep in focus.
He nodded, smirking from behind his mask, so she wasn't completely insecure. Neat, he didn't think she could handle it. Impressive. He rouse an eyebrow and looked through her mind, which was a much more difficult task now, "It may take a while to master this new ability but I have confidence in you" he said in his usual charming voice.
<< You see what he usually does is compliment a person and give them a false sense of security, much like he did to Vanessa. XD but he isn't exactly doing that at the moment. >>

((Cryaotic's deceiving XD but loves his family! haha ))
Cara smiled, then the barrier feel apart..."Thanks," she huffed. "But, as a weaker demon than most in our line, I've got a lot to work on." Did I just dispraise myself? What is the world coming to...? She wondered.

<< It's kinda like... The American Dad mixed with... James Bond and ... Jet Lee XD XD XD >>
He shook his head, "No. Don't lose confidence. Thats the worst thing to do. Why do you think that some of the strongest demons are the most arrogant?" he tilted his head to the side.
He shook his head, "No. Don't lose confidence. Thats the worst thing to do. Why do you think that some of the strongest demons are the most arrogant?" he tilted his head to the side.
((Omg, hehe that's a funny combination actually))
Cara face palmed, "You know, that makes perfect sense..." She was thinking about Samael in particular.

Cry nodded, "But don't ever become to arrogant. No. Doing that can severly hurt you. Never think that you can surpass your enemy. You need to embrace your limitations in order to expand your capabilities" he said blankly, playing his psp with a slouched back posture.
"That, I believe," she once again thought about Samael. As she focussed on the mental barrier, she decided to practice holding it minute by minute.
"Try not to hold them for to long, doing so can damage your confidence and self esteem temporarily at the rate your going" he murmured and sipped the soda, his mask growing back.
"Oh!" She let the barrier drop. Then she looked at him. "So how often do ou suggest I should focus on the barrier?"
He tilted his head to the side, "Now... I'm going to try and teach you another ability. It's a soul seeing ability.... The darker the soul, the more evil it is. The bigger the soul, the more powerful it is" he explained.
"Can I learn it?" Asked Cara, surprised. She had only ever been an illusion demon, strong, but compared to others, not quite as.
He nodded, "Yes... with a bit of power transerference and practicing... you could potentially master the skill." he replied.
"Power transference?" Asked Cara. "Is it really, really possible?"Her eyes were bright with potential. After her run in with Divine, she had felt ridiculously underpowered.
He smirked silently, "I'm Satan bruh, I can do... almost everything... besides building a durable snack bar" he mumbled the last part.
"Hehe," said Cara, yep, even if she knew who he was, she could still hardly believe, as stories goes, Cryaotic hardly seemed the devilish kind. "Trick Amaterasu."
He blinked faintly but kept his voice as steady and blank as usual, "Probably couldn't. We may be equals in strength and power. Keeping the universe balanced and all. But she's hard to get past." he murmured.
He shook his head, "I'm not looking to spark problems with her Cara. We are equals and I refuse to take her as an enemy again." he replied.
"Aw too bad," said Cara, disappointed of course, because when she wasn't out making deals to suit her needs, or the endgame, she was usually ticking someone - someone not in anyway related to her - to free the boredom. "But I guess you wouldn't want to. Just keep making those snack bars in hope that she doesn't steal them away! Does she really take every single one you make?"
