Di | 2 comments Hi,

I am looking for book but the only thing I can remember is hero is trying to teach the heroine a lesson about how sinister men can be. The Heroine ran away at some point to only be bought by the hero and she was kinda stored in a whore house. In one scene the heroine was made to go into a room and watch from behind a two mirror the actions between a prostitute and a customer. I can't remember if this was just to teach the girl not to be dependent on men or what as it has been a rather long time since i have read it. I hope I am not crossing two books.

thanks

Di, please add genre and plot details to your header to make it easier on the searchers trying to locate your book.

When did you read this? Paper book, ebook, other format? Cover art? Where and when was it set? Standalone or part of a series?

Aerulan | 1317 comments Probably not it since it's a historical and some details don't match, but Never a Gentleman by Eileen Dryer has a similar scene (view spoiler)
