Thoughts about Unforgiven. Happy or disappointed?

I finished the book in a day but I personnaly was dissapointed. Fallen series is my favorite so had a higher expectation of what the story line was going to be about. My fault i realize but over all was bored. Forced myself to finish it though. Ending (again my opinion) was sad and there wasn't a great closure. I enjoyed the parts where Lauren Kate wrote about Luce and Daniel but that was it. Man...i really was wanting this to be spectacular! Please let me know what you thought about this book.

I haven't yet read it but just wanted to ask why it was so disappointing? I also have high expectations I mean its CAM! I literally wanted Luce to turn her back on * SPOILER *
Daniel and Lucifer for him just because of his general character. Does he stay the same? His attitude I mean ?

I thought the same thing. The whole high school thing felt really cliche. I think it would've been better under a different setting.

I wasn't pleased with "Unforgiven".
I will start with the things that I liked:
1)In this book we are able to see a softer and more caring Cam.
2)We can actually learn more about Lilith and Cam's and hers love story.
And now some things I don't like:
1)Lauren Kate changed drasticly her writing style,as we can see the book isn't as serious as the other ones and it 's more like a high school comedie/drama book.
2)Some of her ideas were kinda boring.
3)Lilith wasn't such a powerfull liding character(currently), because it was really brave to try to find her lover in the past(it probably was very dangerous)
4)Last but certainly not least, I hated the idea of the devil changing Cam's characteristics and that she made he look SO desperate for Liliths' love, because I felt like she was trying to differentiate him from what we have seen of him so far and trying to make him another person. IN THIS BOOK THERE WAS NO BAD BOY!!:(
Anyway I thank Lauren Kate for the fallen series and for her introducing me in the world of literatre and showing me how much I love losing myself into the books

Very, very disappointed. Cam is very different in Unforgiven, more puppy-like in my opinion. Good to read once, but prepare yourself for a softer Cam
