Jeydon nodded slightly, "I should get you home." He said once the music stopped. He did not want Josh to think they were out to terribly late. He wondered if Hayden was having fun at the after party. She seemed to get along pretty well with Josh. He wondered if Vee would ever be okay with him going back to school, but he did not want to bring it up right now. She always seemed worried about something, but he never knew what. Jeydon wished Vee would tell him, because she could trust him with anything.
"Yah..." She said softly. She pulled away from him. This was where things would end for them and they would have to go back to how they were a few minutes ago. She looked around once more, taking in the dreamy night theme of the dance. She then looked down to her strapless black mermaid dress. Now she wished she hadn't went all out for the prom. Because it didn't go as planed. It wasn't perfect. It was messed up, like her. She held onto her clutch and waited for him to lead. ((How weird. I was just reading over this rp))
Jeydon nodded silently as he led her to his car, "I know this night did not go as you planned, and I'm sorry." He paused briefly, "I'll make it up to you, I promise." He opened the car door for her, as he went around to get in on his side. He started the car. It was pretty chilly outside, and he wanted to get the car warmed up for Vee. She did not live to far from the school, so he knew that it would be a short drive. "If you are cold, you can wear my jacket." Jeydon said as he looked at Vee with only concern in his eyes.
Vee followed him out of the school and to the parking lot. She couldn't help but slightly smile a little to herself as she walked up to his car. The memory of his worry for his car after the crash coming to her mind, and how he presented her to Vee. But that left when he started to speak. She wanted to say it wasn't his fault, like how anyone would say to someone that was apologizing, but it kinda was. She just stayed quite about it. How would he make it up to her? There was nothing he could do to make up her prom night, or the pain she felt when ever she sees him. She sighs softly to herself and just got in the car. She pulled on the seatbelt, hearing him offer her his jacket. "No thank you." She said softly.
Jeydon sighed as he pulled out of the parking lot. The drive to her house was filled with quiet. It was strange to think about sometimes, but they had been through so much together in the little time they had known each other. Jeydon stopped the car as he pulled up to her house. He slowly turned to her, "I love you." He said as he bit his bottom lip and looked at the bottom of her dress. "I know you hate me saying it, and I know you hate me feeling this way towards you, but I love you. I just wanted to say that before you left." He looked at her and softly laid his hand over hers. "I think I always will Vee." He said with a half smile.
Vee looked out the window throughout their drive. She didn't want to say anything, or really have a conversation. She just wanted to get home and be alone in her room. When they arrived at her drive through, she was ready to leave. But what he said made her freeze before she could even start moving. Love... Why does he have to say that..... He knows how I feel about him. He knows I'm with someone and that I don't want to be with him. Why does he have to do this to me? Vee was fighting the urge of not crying in front of him. She looked down to her lap when she felt his hand on hers. He had to stop loving her. He just had to. As much as she didn't want to, she pulled her hand away from his. "I'm sorry," she barely mumbles, trying her best to not sound like she was going to cry. She moved to pull off the seat belt and open the door. Through their ride it had started to rain a bit. She stepped out right under the rain, not caring that she was getting wet.
Jeydon sighed as he watched her leave right into the rain. He did not know what to say anymore, it was obvious his words had no effect on her. He watched her go into the house, and all he felt was empty inside. His thoughts swirled around in confusion. At times Vee seemed to be in love with him as well, but she could not love him if she had a boyfriend. Jeydon shook his head as he mustered up the strength to drive away from her house. He started to drive towards the after party, maybe seeing Hayden or some of his friends would take his mind off his girl problems. Jeydon made his decision on the way there. He would return to the school, and he was going to do anything to get Vee, even if it meant making her jealous.

((Yah. Maybe by the time Jeydon comes back those to could be together. They would convince the two that they should go on seconds dates and what not too and ect.))
It's been two weeks since the last time since Vee had seen Jeydon. She's been better, in a way, now that Jeydoj was out of her life again. Yah she's hears his name a few times when she's with Hayden. But ever since the dance, Vee manged to control powers and her feelings now that Jeydon wasn't with her. It was every time she was with him. She wasn't sure why. Maybe because every feeling she felt while with him came back to her. The pain, happiness, hurt and everything.She walked down the hallway, holding jakes hand. They were still together. Of course she didn't know he was secretly with Hayden. The two had gotten closer and started to have feelings for eachother. But they didn't want to hurt Jeydon and Vee, not really knowing that those two felt the same way too.
It had been awhile sine Jeydon had seen Vee. He knew she probably liked it that way, but it would soon change. Jeydon did not tell anyone he was going back to school, but today was the day. Hayden would probably be really happy he figured. They had never gotten the chance to hang out at school since they met after he left. Jeydon got dressed in black jeans with a flannel and white tshirt underneath.(view spoiler)
He wanted to look nice weather it be for Vee or for Hayden, or maybe both. He was not sure yet. As he arrived at the school, he checked his hair several times and pushed it to the side. As he walked in several people stared, and started whispering instantly. He smirked when he saw Hayden. He went and wrapped his arms around her waist. She turned around smiling brightly but slightly confused, "Jeydon, what are you doing here?" She said upbeat, but still like something was off.
"I'm coming back to school, why is something wrong." He said as he raised a brow. "No no, nothing is wrong babe." She said as she wrapped her arms around his waist. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Vee and her boyfriend walking over. Jeydon then put his arms around Hayden, and kissed her before they both turned to them. Jeydon's arm still hung around Hayden's shoulder.
Vee walked a little more before she noticed someone new. Well, not new because but back. Except when she noticed him and what he was doing, she felt her heart break into a million pieces. What is he doing here? She asked herself. She couldn't just stop walking, especially when Jake seemed to notice Jeydon too. The two approached the kissing couples, both hiding how they really felt. "Well look who's here," Jake said cheerfully. Vee still held onto his hand, standing close to him as she looked at Hayden then Jeydon and then back to her best Friend. She did her best to not meet his gaze, and to block out everyone's thoughts. Like she said, every time she is with him she couldn't control her power, but she was doing a good job for now. No thoughts but hers so far. "How did they let you in?" She asked, just looking up for a second to meet his eyes before looking away. The idea of him coming back didn't come to her.
Jeydon chuckled slightly, "The school can not keep me out, I did not do anything wrong." He said as he rubbed Hayden's back slightly. "But hey Jake!" He said trying to hold back the annoyance in his voice, "I am glad to be back." He glanced at Vee, but he could tell she was trying to avoid his gaze, so he avoided hers too. She looked at the closeness between Jake and Vee with gritted teeth as he closed the space between himself and Hayden. "Well Hayden I should get to first period." He said as he kissed her forehead before leaving. "Bye guys see ya later." He said as he walked off.Hayden glanced at Jake. She hated how she had to hide her feelings for him, but she did not want to hurt Vee or Jeydon. She still cared so much about them. "It is strange that he is here." She said with a half smile. Jeydon coming back was going to make things a lot messier, and a lot harder to hide. She would have to talk to Jake about this later because he was probably thinking the same thing that she was.
Vee's eyes slightly widened. Why would he come back? Why now? Vee asked herself. She didn't like this. She was perfectly fine. She was happy, and now she couldn't be. Not by seeing her friend with the person she truly loves. She watched him as he kissed Hayden and left. She would have to leave for class too since it was on the other side of the school. She looked between her boyfriend and her friend. As much as she loves them, she wanted to be alone to think about what just happened. "I'll see you guys later." With that she left. Jake, just like Hayden, was thinking about how things would get harder for him and Hayden to be together. He looked at her, wondering what she would say or do.
Hayden sighed as she watched her friend rush off. She knew that Vee disliked Jeydon for some reason, but she could never figure out why. She glanced around the halls to see if they were empty. There was no signs of anyone. "Jake, I don't know what to do. Maybe we should just be honest about us to Jeydon and Vee." She sighed as she bit her bottom lip hesitantly. "I love you." She said softly as she placed her hands in Jakes, and looked up into his eyes. "I don't know how this happened, but it did, and they deserve to know."
Jake listened to Hayden. He knew she had a point, but he couldn't bring himself to hurt Vee. She was to innocent to have her heart broken. He never meant for this to happen. He truly did love her, and somewhat still does. But ever since the dance and probably before it really, he couldn't stop thinking about Hayden. Now that she admits how she feels about him and them spending more and more time together, he finds it harder to stop what's going on. He held onto her hands when she gripped them, looking up into her eyes lovingly yet a bit worried. "I can't... I can't do this to Vee. Telling her now would hurt her. She seems to be different lately. Always lost in thought. I know something his going on with her, but I'm not sure what. Still, I don't want to hurt her now." He tells her softly. He let go one of her hands and moved it to cup her cheek.
Hayden nodded slowly in response. She did not want to hurt Vee either. Jeydon was an amazing guy and did not deserve this either. She did not understand why everything was so complicated with the four of them. "I should go to class." She said softly before giving Jake's cheek a quick kiss. Jeydon walked to class quickly. He grabbed his sub sandwich and ate it on the way. His old eating habits had returned. He was thankful for that because he did love to eat and missed the taste of some of his favorite foods. He tried not to think about Vee as much as he could. Vee obviously liked Jake, and did not feel the same way about him.
Vee walked down the hall. It was empty now, since the bell just rang a few minutes ago. Jake was already at lunch, she was sure, and maybe Hayden was too. She was heading down there now. But she was taking her time at the same time. She didn't want to find out of Jake was in her lunch or not. She couldn't stop thinking about how things would become for her with Jeydon here now. How would she control her power now? What about her and Jake?
Jeydon smiled in relief as the bell rang to release them to their lunch period. Ever since he ate his sandwich a few hours ago, he was suddenly starving once again. He picked up his bookbag, and stopped by his locker to grab some money for lunch. Jeydon picked up a tray as he stood in line. The lunch ladies welcomed him back as he paid. He grabbed three slices of pizza, chips, yogurt, a chicken salad sandwich, peaches, a water bottle and a bottle of orange juice. He scanned the room for Hayden, who was already sitting with Jake. He walked over to sit with her. "Hey babe." Jeydon greeted her with a kiss on the forehead as he sat a across from her, and next to Jake. He than took a bite out of his pizza. "How were your classes?" Hayden said as she took his hand into her own, and gave it an encouraging squeeze. "It was good although I was starving most of the time." He said with a chuckle. Jeydon than glanced up to see Vee walk in. He wondered if she would sit with them. He knew that Vee despised him. He continued eating, and watched to see if Hayden noticed her best friend walk in. Jeydon did not have a huge crowd of friends like he did before, but he did not have as many people hating him like he did when he left the school.
Vee walked into the cafeteria and immediately noticed Jeydon sitting at the table where Jake and Hayden were at. She understood why he was there. His girlfriend was there after all. But she still didn't want him to be there. She didn't want him to be here. She turned away from the table and went into the lunch line to get herself something to eat. She remembers the last time she was in the last time she was in this cafeteria with Jeydon was months ago. It had been one of her worst days here, if not the worst day. The memory of Josh asking her out after she found out why Jeydon had tried to hook up with her. She had agreed to hurt Jeydon, but it was just a prank. That was the same day Jeydon tried to ask her to forgive her, when he went to get something for her to eat and was beaten up. The day she told him she hated him and never wanted to talk to him just so he would leave her alone, and because of that he was severely hurt. She blinks a few times, keeping herself from crying. She hated that day. She hated herself. Vee pushed away those thoughts and just got her lunch. She walked towards the table where her friends were at. It wasn't like she would sit somewhere else because Jeydon was here. Even with Jake and Hayden, the other classmates still didn't like her ever since she came. "Hey," she said and sat down next to Jake. Unlike Jeydon, she just had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich with milk.
Jeydon looked up at Vee and smiled, "Hey feels like I have not seen you guys in forever." He said as he took a big bite out of his sandwich. He knew they were never going to be anything more than friends, and that was something he would just have to accept. Jeydon felt guilty because he knew he should appreciate the amazing girl he was with. She adored him and supported him through everything. Hayden started talking to Vee about something, and he zoned out of the conversation for a little while as he was eating. He was basically just happy at the moment to be alive and back in school with some of his friends.
Vee didn’t say anything about his comment, even though she had thought the same thing a few minutes ago. She didn’t even bother looking at him. But when Hayden started to talk to her, she looked at her and fell into conversation. Except now, after finding out they she was dating the person she still had feelings for, it was hard to talk to her like she used to. But she wouldn’t show that. It wouldn’t be good, and she didn’t want to ruin her relationship with her friend. So she acted like nothing was wrong as she spoke. ((Should we time skip to something? I remember saying having the Jake and Hayden actually be a thing? Should we do that? Or not anymore, to make breaking up with them hard for both your guy and Vee?))
Jeydon glanced around the lunch room. There were only a couple more minutes until the bell rang. Hayden and Jake seemed to be getting along pretty well. Now Vee and himself were the only ones in the group not talking. He glanced over at her, she looked as beautiful as ever. He sighed and took a swig of his soda. He still did not understand how they went through so much together, and she still had no feelings towards him. Jeydon looked over at Hayden, his girlfriend, he was lucky, but she still was not the one he wanted. He wanted Vee since the first second he saw her, but life does not always work out the way you want it to. (( yea they could be together))
Vee stopped taking to Hayden, but she quickly into conversation with Jake. They seemed to talk a lot more, but she didn’t give it much thought because just as Vee was close to Hayden, so was Jake. After all while Jeydon was gone, the three formed a friendship and were always together. First her and Jake, and then they started to date, and then Hayden joined them and they always stayed together. Vee barely ate her peanut butter sandwich, and just pushed her tray a little away from her. She glanced at Jeydon, catching him looking at her. She glanced away, but then figured she should talk to him since they were the only ones quite. “How’s your mom?” She asked him, remembering her from the days she stayed in the hospital and how she liked her.
Jeydon looked over at Vee, "Um, yea she's good. She asks about you, says you should come over for dinner sometime soon." He sighed, "Actually all you guys should come over for dinner sometime, it would make my mom really happy for me to finally have some friends over after all this time." He pulled his phone out and sent his mom a quick text. Ever since the accident she had been nagging at him to have friend over, and this was the perfect opportunity to make his mom happy and spend some more time with Vee outside of school.
“She does?” She said, taken back. She hadn’t expected her to ask about her, not after she left her son and never asked about him again. But she really had liked her because of how much she care for Jeydon at the hospital. But hearing she was okay was good. She had liked his mom. When he invited her over, Vee smiled a little. But then he incited them all, and the idea of all of going sounded bad to her. She glanced at Jake and Hayden. Those two smiled, saying they’d love to go. But Vee wasn’t sure about the idea, still, she couldn’t say no. “Sounds good. I’d love to see your mom again.” She admits. Vee decided to leave, not liking where this was going. She grabbed her plate and stood up. She barely ate her food. “I’m going to through out my tray,” she said to them, glancing at Jeydon and walking away.
