Born into a world of pain and suffering, ever since she was a little girl she was dead serious. Growing up she didn't know many joys and her personality grew harder. Katashi is shown to be cold, determined, and merciless when on mission or when hired to do a task. Despite all of this, Katashi joined a team and had gained a very honorable and caring personality that she never knew was even possible for her. Katashi is a skilled, loyal, and honorable girl. Despite her appearance of a naïve child, she is the exact opposite. Her cold personality has been shut to appear only when she chooses. However, this doesn't mean she isn't always on guard. She is calculating and intelligent and is always observing. Katashi is young, but wise. She had learned the ways of her culture and has lived by them her entire life. Not many get to know the real Katashi, but those who do truly know her, she treasures them as her greatest friends even if they don't acknowledge it.

Born on a cool December night, disgust was all that showed in her father's eyes. A light snow had dusted the earth, but it was anything but beautiful. A babe wailed throughout the night waiting for her mother to respond, but the woman laid still. She had died and left the babe motherless. Katashi was left to be raised by her father. Her father was a great warrior, from the Hatake clan. He had the potential to be the next leader, but tragedy stuck. Her father had entered a battle ill prepared. He was fatal wounded and in the end permanently crippled. With his ambitions shattered he shifted his dreams onto his five year old daughter.

Katashi had started extensive training from a young age by the age of ten she had gotten the chance to take the first year exams and passed with flying colors. She was already cold in spirit and being the youngest due to her father, she was greatly hated. She had joined a team of two older students, both male. They helped soften her up and taught her how to have fun. She excelled with her team. Although her father didn't approve, she improved every day. She had learned of her gift during a mission she was on. Katashi was the only one to come out of it unharmed. After that mission she became different. She realized what her father had crafted her into and with the unexpected gift she became even stronger. At twelve, she was the youngest fist year, in the bunch to attempt the master exams. She passed every test flawlessly. Although she set no records, but she was exceptional among the lot. She was the only one in her team to be nominated as a master.

After that she steadily rose until she was an even better warrior than her father. Her culture was a difficult one, especially in a world that leaving the olden ways. She was isolated in what some would consider a feudal period. Katashi was fifteen when she received the letter about Tall-Tale Island. She was confused and refused to go, saying it was a lie meant to trick her. Katashi had never realized hat her curse was, at least not until her father spoke wit her. Katashi finally agreed to go when she was seventeen and has been on Tall-Tale Island since. She is use to the technology by now, but still refuses to use it. She sticks with her traditions and sticks out lie a sore thumb in a crowd.

She is also severely allergic to fish. Which comes to a huge disadvantage at times.
Katashi always gets up an hour before sunrise and spends from the time she wakes up until nd hour after sunrise dong extensive training.

[ w ] ith a personality that harbours an extraordinarily wide range of emotions, Jonathan has learned to communicate with his face and using body and sign language the most in order to convey what he wants to say. He's relatively clever, and excellent at not making a single sound, but is very unsure about how to approach new people. He loves making friends, but has mood swings on occasion, so you have to be careful about what you say to him - he can take things very personally.

[ a ] s a young boy, Jon always had difficulties working on his speech and vocal language. He stuttered at first, but then the children in his school made fun of him, so he shut his mouth and wouldn't speak another word in public, until one day, on his fifth birthday, his stuttering simply stopped - he could no longer talk, his vocal cords could no longer function. So they sent him to a doctor, but nobody could figure out what was wrong, so his parents sent him to a different school when he was twelve, where he dropped music for a class in ASL - american sign language. As a result, he did all his oral exams in sign, and aced everything else.

[ t ] here was a drawback to being so mart - but also so quiet. Jon has problems with people, and people would often ask him if he was deaf, other people would bully him. His parents loved him very much, but they couldn't help him socially, since he refused to be put in a community building class with deaf people. He wanted to be left alone. The year he was beginning to consider taking a darker route, his letter came. That was when he was sixteen - hell might have just left him- or it might have just come to him ; in the form of a neat letter from an anonymous sender. But he went. He packed his bags, left a note to his parents, saying he loved them very much and he would miss them, and then he left.
