Mmm....maybe just negative emotions? When they get mad, they cry, when they get frustrated they cry, when they get sad or unhappy they cry?


also what do you think about Hansel having some type of charmspeak for his power? He tricked the witch for 4 weeks and made her believe he was thin and not getting fat

I only suggested more than one tie for the crying cause sorrow/sadness isn't something that happens often and thus wouldn't really be much of a curse not to mention people generally cry uncontrollably when feeling sad or sorrowful anyways haha

Curse: Never ending hunger. No matter how much they eat or what they eat, they will never feel full and always feel like they are starving.

Gift: Charmspeak, they can use their words to mildly influence or make someone believe something.

Perhaps they are brought to tears also when they are extremely happy/proud

Alright, so for now the only ones left are Hatter, Red Queen and Cruella's curse.

We can add more Descendants and such at a later date, or whenever.

yup I'm working on Hatter and the Queen now~ stuck on gifts for both atm

here's what I have for the curses

Hatter- The hat is their lifeline. A tophat appears shortly after birth, and should anything happen to it, should it be destroyed or taken off their head, the descendant will die. It has to be on their head at all times.

Queen- The minute any anger, annoyance or frustration is felt, the descendant of the Queen of Hearts falls into a berserk rage, screaming angrily at whoever caused such emotion but if the anger is great enough, they try to behead the person who upset them instead.

Red Queen
-Pain inducement (Able to give people physical pain via touch)
-Ability to turn or use cards as a weapon
-Can transform roses into something else
-Can change the color of things (Since she had white roses painted red)
-Ability to charm people, and make them thing they're in love with her

Mad Hatter
It might be hard if the hat has to constantly be on their heads; I mean you can't really hold it on your head if you're sleeping or showering. I don't know what kind of gift to give him, every time I think about him, tea keeps popping in my head.

We could just say that, not only if the hat is damaged, but if its not within the same room/area with them than they die as well?

Being able to pull things out of his hat, as he did in the 1951 version? Being able to confuse people? Creating enchanted tea? I don't know.

But what should the tea do...? Perhaps the tea can make people happy, or make them have to tell something, or have healing properties

okay so for the curse it would be:

The descendant cannot have the hat more than 4 feet away from them without feeling ill, if it is further than 10 feet away, or if the hat is damaged, they will die.


then maybe the gift could be:

The descendant can make one of 3 types of teas with special properties: a truth syrum tea, a healing tea, and a cheerful tea. The teas only last roughly an hour.

It works. I think people would have a lot of fun with that curse and gift pairing

Maybe, since Kaley mentioned having extra descendants available, than character in which Mods make should be considered the 'extras'. That way regular member never feel like they didn't get ones they wanted. :3

oooh that's actually a really good idea, cause like I'm so excited and has ideas but I wouldn't want to make it so someone couldn't claim something cause 2 mods claimed it, ya know? I think its a good idea for the mods to have the extras XD

XD I only have one descendant I know I want for sure, I haven't given much thought to it.

So, I'll reopen the descendant claim page so people can start making their characters.

So, for approving characters, do you want to be the only one to do it Silverlight? What all would we be looking for if you wanted us to also approve? Cause I already noticed some stuff in profiles but I don't know if its my place to say anything, especially since you already approved them...

Mostly just trying to get people to have the required information and understand their characters, as a minimum. Yes, of course you guys can approve them as well, and if you think someone needs to fix a character, feel free to comment on that as well.

I might not be on as much until the weekend, as I have a couple essays and projects to complete.

hey guys, so from tomorrow until Sunday I ill strictly ghosting. as I'm going up too a dead-zone for electronics, well an almost dead-zone area. I will try t maintain the claim thread stll though

I'm wondering on if I should help approve or not. Sometimes its assumed that I'm too harsh when it comes to approvals just cause I ask for more detail or to fix grammar errors or point out something that doesn't make sense .-. I don't know if this group is advanced enough that I could approve like normal or not...

I'd suggest, making sure their info is pretty much accurate to the group and then if they have major grammar errors, correct them otherwise I'd say let it side. As for other facts that don't make sense just ask the creator about it.
