I think that if they appear at least semi-realistic, that anime/drawings should be fine to have.

Hey Kikki, did you decide on putting Alice and Hatter together as one curse/gift? I'm putting together the basics listing of fairy tales, even if we haven't figured out curses/gifts for all

I'm working away on the ideas for the curses and powers. I have a curse and power for alice and the Cheshire Cat, a curse for the White Rabbit but I'm still working on a power for the white Rabbit, curse and power for hatter and curse and power for the red queen

Maybe the Hatter's power can center around his hat; Being able to pull things out of it, or using it as a weapon/boomerang?

The white rabbit could have a time-related curse, since he was always "Late" in a lot of versions.

I have the sudden urge to watch Shrek and Alice in Wonderland.

I was thinking about a curse or gift relating to the Hatters hat actually, I'm toying with a few ideas.


and then I have an idea for the Red queen too, its a matter of trying to put it into words that I seem to be struggling with haha

Here is what I have completed so far for Alice In Wonderland:

Alice
[Curse] Constantly hallucinates worlds, objects, and animals that are not there (ie- one minute sitting in the room, next minute, to the descendant they fell into Wonderland, or maybe the world of a tv show or cartoon or movie, or suddenly a giant t-rex is in the room with them). The hallucination feels utterly real to the person. There is no way to control when the hallucinations happen or how long they last.

{Gift} Can use teas and cakes to help grow or shrink respectfully, but only work on Alice descendants. Can become as small as 2 inches or as tall as a tree.


((this one is spurred from several sources stating the cheshire cat as the 'maddest and craziest of them all with even the Queen of Hearts fearing him'))

Cheshire Cat
[Curse] The descendants of the Cheshire Cat suffer from lapses in sanity, in which they might do anything from believe themselves ruler of the world, to trying to burn down anything around them, or even bludgeon whoever is nearby near to death. They have no memories of these lapses in sanity when they come back to themselves.

{Gift} Like the original Cheshire cat, the descendants can disappear from sight and reshape their body at will (like how Cheshire was known to make just a body part appear, or stand on his own head) to amuse or more likely frighten whoever sees.

White Rabbit
[Curse] Descendants of the White Rabbit have an obsession with time. They always have to know what time it is, always worry about being late, or too early, or if they are on time. No matter how hard they try, however, they are always late to everything and everywhere.

{Gift} Descendants of the White Rabbit can turn into a rabbit who, like the rabbit, can talk, along with having the general abilities of a rabbit such as enhanced hearing and higher jumping ability. They could also only partially transform if they wished to(such as grow just rabbit ears), though doing so is far more draining without proper practice.

lol XD hmmm....maybe something about their fur/hair? Cruella went to great lengths to try and get the puppies fur for her coat, so maybe something like if anyone see's their hair or fur, they become obsessed with it to the point of wanting to harm them for it? If you don't want to go that far you could say non-cursed people have that happen?

Maybe if people touch them while in dog form, they get black and white spots XD

Lets see, for Shrek/Fiona (Curse) - The descendants have an ogre appearance? But without a human appearance, so the curse is somewhat different from the Lilly/Beast one

Should we keep the drawing-come-to-life gift for Anastasia?

I'm considering keeping the curse-kiss for Tiana (Kiss is toxic) Because of the whole "Kiss a frog" theme from the Princess/Frog stories

the Shrek/Fiona curse makes sense, they're both fully ogre by the end of the first movie anyways

um.....idk if its relevant to Anastasia honestly, she doesn't ever like draw in the movie or anything?

I think there was one scene in the movie where Anastasia was drawing, but I can't remember, I haven't seen the movie in so long

I've seen it several times recently lol its my bf's 5 year old sister's fav movie

but like if there was drawing there wasn't really a lot of it, not enough to make it seem significant and relevant to her? The biggest thing in the movie was not having any memory and Rasputin? i think his name was, wanting to kill her off

How about, for Shrek/Fiona power, than either enchanted-strength (As Shrek was relatively strong, being able to carry both Donkey and Fiona), or sonic breath (Because of how Shrek roared at the pitchfork people)

It'd be funny if we added Donkey, with fire-breathing gift

For Anastasia you could always do something with her singing, or something. Like they can create illusions when they sing or something along those lines.

Ursula can manipulate people through singing, as a power, though. I guess illusions is somewhat different though. Or instead of singing we could do dancing? Because, didn't she imagine dancing people during a scene in the movie?

se wouldn't be able to manipulate anyone with it though plus there are going to be similar curses/gifts due to similar situations of characters.

memory manipulation would be a good one, just include a limit like idk she can't permanently erase a memory, or she can only make someone forget a memory for a short amount of time or something so its not godmodding? So long as a power has a limit pretty much any power can be not OP
