Tia in addition to your thread here you might want to post this in the M/M Romance group's thread for lost books. It's a private group -so you'll have to join before you can view or post if you're not a member already- but it's a great resource. I hope i find it too, and i'll leave a reply here if i do so you can check it out too. It was a really good book, i just so happen to forget to leave it on any of my lists. So poof! there it went.

I read this book about 2 years ago. It's about mc1 (i forgot their names) whose partner died in the line of duty. I don't remember if he was in the military, FBI or a cop. Anyways, mc2 dies and mc1 doesn't believe he actually died. And he would be right. Somehow mc1 figures out, i think through a friend of mc2 that mc2 is alive. mc2 was infected with a virus and has been in hiding, because he is actually going to die. But, they get a reunion and get to spend a few last days with each other. Then, a cure is found for mc2 and they live happily ever after. That's all i remember about the plot, a few other things that might help.
-The beginning of the book is about mc1 grieving and how even after a year he still hasn't gotten over mc2 death.
-I'm like 60% positive that the book had paranormal aspects to it. There was some type of weird creature they got chased by. (lol is this even helping?)
-I don't think the book was very popular, but i know i found it on goodreads and i've looked through every list on the mm book section to find it again. No such luck.
