Libby Jacobs (libbysbookpicks) | 6 comments I read a children's book about 2 years ago. About a poor girl and her mother who go to a museum with old silver things of a lost Russian prince. The girl is convinced that someone has harmed or kidnapped the prince so she visits different houses in her community to try to find him. Along the way they find people have continued making Russian recipes that the prince's mother brought to England with them when they came. It ends with the girl breaking into a mansion and discovering the "Prince" is now an old man and is not in danger.

Historic_Heroine | 74 comments Do you remember how long ago you read the book or have any idea around when it might have been published? My first guess based on my searches is Aunt Dimity and the Lost Prince, except it's not a middle grade book. The descriptions I've found hit on a lot of your plot points though.

What's an adult book?

Why does the header say "solved"? Is it solved?

I think my answer was correct and she was saying she was wrong and it was an adult book not a middle grade because that was the one thing that made me think the answer I gave might not be correct.

Libby Jacobs (libbysbookpicks) | 6 comments Yes, it is solved it was "Aunt Dimity and the Lost Prince." All I mean by adult is that it was not a children's book like I originally thought. Thanks!
