ABANDONED. Fiction: Female protagonist develops powers, is discovered and given a new identity.

I read this book awhile ago, and it was fantastic.
Can't remember everything, details are blurry, so this may not be the most accurate description. Thanks in advance!

There's two classes of people. One with powers, one without. The female protagist accidentally shows powers, that she didn't know she had until that very moment. (Possibly electricity based?) If my memory serves correctly, a group of young woman are vying for a young man's hand in marriege. (Possibly royal.) Someone in the book has power of rock? The young woman are displaying their carefully honed, prestigious lineage based powers when the protagonist is somehow spotted. She doesn't have the same characteristics as those with powers. (Incert something to do with pale skin, eyes and blood that is not red.) The 'royalty' want to hush this up, so she is taken to live with them. And disguised to be the long lost daughter of an important man, presumed to be dead. This is all I remember...it was a teen or young adult novel.

It sounds like the Mistborn series. They have the powers of Metal though not Rock and electricity. everything else makes sense though. The Final Empire
