Lori I am starting my 8 with Mariana, I had just started this book off of book mountain.

Lori #1 Mariana by Susanna Kearsley, I loved this story and gave it 5 stars.

Lori #2 Yarn to Go by Betty Hechtman, this was a new to me series and author. I gave it 4 stars because I couldn't put it down once I started it. It was a nice cozy mystery with knitting.

Lori #3 Snow Falling on Cedars by David Guterson, this has been sitting on my shelf for years.... I now know why. It was long, descriptive and flowery. I think the underlying story was good but unfortunately it was buried under pages and pages of tripe. 2.5 stars from me.

JanB | 980 comments Lori, I had this one on my shelf for many years and finally donated it to Goodwill. I've had no regrets ;)

Lori Jan if I had been at home I would have quit it and read something else. But I was at work so I just kept plugging along.

Ughhhh I have had this one forever too!

message 8: by Lori (new)

Lori I just don't understand why it was so acclaimed. I kind of felt bad for not liking it very much. I'm too OCD to quit a book but if I could have I would have tossed this one.

Lori #4 Rocky Mountain Miracle by Leona Karr, I have no idea how long this has been on my shelf or even how it got there. But I decided I deserved something short after Cedars. This was a story about a church camp, the new owner of the camp has lost his faith and is planning on selling the land. A natural disaster helps him to regain his faith and the ending is everyone lived happily ever after. Nice, light and short.

Lori #5 Shakespeare's Landlord by Charlaine Harris, I gave this book 4 stars because I loved it and couldn't stop once I started it. I can't believe I have left this gem sitting on my shelf for years!! Best of all I already have the next 4 books in the series!! Guess what my next 4 books are going to be.....

Lori #6 Shakespeare's Champion by Charlaine Harris, I gave this book 4 stars. I tore through this book in no time. Once I started reading I couldn't quit!

Lori #7 The Sweet Potato Queen's Book of Love by Jill Conner Browne, I gave this book 4 stars it was very funny. I actually was reading this in Ihop and snored coffee through my nose while trying not to laugh out loud!

Lori #8 Shakespeares Christmas by Charlaine Harris, I gave this book 4 stars. I loved it just as much as the previous 2 books from this series!

I have now finished my 8 books but I think I'm going to keep going to see how many books I can clear off of my shelves before the end of the year!!

Awesome! Keep going!

Lori #9 Shakespeares Trollop by Charlaine Harris, I gave this book 4 stars and I loved it. I think the thing I like the most about these books is that I can feel myself there, I feel like I know Lily. I only have one more book left in this series and it makes me sad.
