I loved every minute of this book, and my only regret is that I didn't read it when I was younger. I think it would've been good for me to read this while in middle or high school.

I enjoyed the book. I agree with kara I should have read it years ago. Francie knew what she wanted and worked hard to get there. It was neat seeing how the world was changing during that time. This book should be on every high school reading list

Maria, I absolutely agree! I think this is one of those books that could've changed my whole life had I read it when in high school for class.

Loved this book! The descriptions were great, I loved the characters, especially Francie and Sissy, and the message that you can rise above adversity, and that money won't buy you class. Definitely an uplifting book.
