Round vs Flat Characters

(view spoiler)[In the book The Outsiders, Dally is a very Falt character(A character who has no emotions).But when the times comes when Johnny dies he finally lets out his emotions. Before this event all Dally saw from his eyes were hatred of the world. This shows us that people can chage from Flat to round Characters based on the events that happen.
