BUT I MEAN HOW COULD HE DO THAT?

Before I begin my rant let me just make something clear; I read these books about 5 years ago and I have forgotten most of what happened in the story. I remember the major/important bits and some specific things but A LOT I can't remember.

So you know how you get that sudden urge to re-read your favourite old books? Well that's me right now. It's midnight and I have an exam tomorrow but I am literally dying right now.

I was on Wikipedia and reading about the characters, and reading about Mayor Prentiss has got my heart racing and this familiar sort of rage is building inside me as I type. I HATED this guy when I was reading the series (and still do). And I remember the sheer disgust and loathing I felt towards him when he shot Davy. But reading this particular part,

"Mayor Prentiss dislikes Davy," we know yes yes, "And at the end of the book Prentiss kills Davy" BASTARD yes yes keep going, "It is later revealed that he would have sent Davy into war with an empty rifle..." OMFG WHAT THE HELL I AM LITERALLY CRYING RIGHT NOW I CAN'T EVEN KEEP READING THIS I JUST CAN'T LIKE RIGHT NOW I'M GETTING THE SAME FEELS AS WHEN MANCHEE (RIP) DIED I MEAN THIS IS

I just can't right now. This is despicable and hideous and disgusting and twisted and sick and horrible. I can't believe some people actually like Mayor Prentiss... I mean he is so manipulative and cruel and cunning. I would like to call him worse things but I fear I'd get banned from Goodreads for using such language.

HOW COULD HE DO THAT TO HIS OWN SON? Send him into a war with an empty gun.... Ugh, I actually feel like throwing up. I don't even think Tywin Lannister would do that to poor Tyrion... and THAT is saying something. Anyways, what do you guys think?
