@Rose I've been wanting to read it for awhile too! The cover alone may be reason enough to buy it!

Hey Harlee, I planned on reading Splintered from a long time too. So, my vote is also for Splintered. We can even do a buddy read if its okay with you.

The Celestra Series by Addison Moore
Ethereal
Tremble

Out of these i have only read ETHEREAL and frankly did not like it that much...though FIRE and BLOOD is on my to read list
Tommy wrote: "Has anyone read Jeremy Fink and the Meaning of Life? I picked it up from the library years ago based strictly on the cover and to this day it remains the most beautiful book I've ever read. [bookco..."Yes! It is pretty good! Not a favorite but worth the read! :D
Harlee wrote: "This is more of a 'which book should I get next question'. I'm trying to decide between Legend, Splintered, and The Raven Boys."Legend by Marie Lu was amazing with fast paced dysptopian plot while i haven't read splintered, i have read raven boys by Maggie stiefvater and if you like the language she uses then the book may appeal to you otherwise for me it was a disaster.
Has anyone read the Jack Reacher Series by Lee Child ...it remains one of my favourite series everi have read almost 11 of 17- 18 books of this series and
the first book Killing Floor and one shot (on which the movie was made)remains my favorite
Harlee wrote: "This is more of a 'which book should I get next question'. I'm trying to decide between Legend, Splintered, and The Raven Boys."RAVEN BOYYYYS. *Ahem* I'm kind of obsessed with those books. I think they're amazing.
Legend was just okay for me. I haven't read Splintered, although I've been told it's good.
Decisions, decisions...Thanks for everyone's opinions! I think, maybe I'm gonna go with Legend and Raven Boys and save Splintered for another time :) although I could just as easily change my mind in an hour lol
Ok, I think I am way behind the curve here, but I am just loving the
series by Elizabeth Norris. I am already on the second one,
and wondering if there is a third one. I just started the second one and can't find any info on whether there is a third one. Anyone know? This is one of the better series I have read this year.
And we did a Q&A with Elizabeth Norris awhile back, here's the link if you want to read it!

Good, glad to hear that the second one completes the series, since I really really hate waiting for the "next" in as series to come out. I read so many books that I can forget just where the first book or books were going and left off while waiting. So good news!
Has anyone read
,
,
? After I finish the two books I'm reading wanting to take a break and read something different before returning to the series I'm reading.
Well, Rose, I read the Selection last month and I wasn't a big fan of it. In fact, I think I gave it 2.5 stars. If you want to read a good dystopian book, then there are many other good books like Unwind.
I have read the Selection. The thing to remember with this one--its not really a dystopian (in my eyes.) It's more of a fantasy/fairy tale. Once I got over that, I liked it okay, although I think there are way better books out there to read!
Maybe Somebody is sitting on my nighstand. I need to read it in the next few days so I will let you know :)
Has anybody read The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman? I'm reading it now but I can't seem to get into it. I'm thinking about putting it down and starting something else.
Harlee wrote: "Has anybody read The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman? I'm reading it now but I can't seem to get into it. I'm thinking about putting it down and starting something else."I couldn't get into it either. Only made it about 90 pgs.

hola y'all, have any of u read the Percy Jackson series? debating on whether to put it on my. tbr list
I've borrowed the entire PJ series, I plan to read it during the summer. I've heard so many good things!
If I had to credit a series for making me love reading(non-comics), I'd have to give it to Goosebumps. Far from top tier literature, but it was really easy for a first grade boy to get into the quick stories. If I had to pick a most beloved series, Harry Potter by far. Made me think seriously about writing(which I am now doing).
But the PJ series is incredible too. One of my favorites. Such a fun read.
The very first series I can remember loving was the Horrible Harry series when I was in grade school haha they were great :)

Has anyone read
? I'm thinking of reading this after I finish The Selection series. What did you think of it?
it is in my tbr pile! I heard many good things about it. to anyone who has read it, is it a scary book?
@Alison-thanks :) I've read good reviews on it, just wondering if anyone had read it. It's on Amazon on Kindle for around $5!!
Not behind and you haven't lost your mind...you've just been busy, I presume. I've read the "Harry Potter" series about a hundred times, due in part to my re-reading the entire series each time a new book or movie was released and then re-reading just for fun. Incidentally yes, I have FAR too much time on my hands. I also enjoyed "The Casual Vacancy", though it was entirely different from the "Harry Potter" books. As for "The Girl..." series, I have the first book but got bogged down in all the $$$ talk toward the beginning and gave up. I did rent the movie. It was OK, but I found it predictable and lost interest in the sequels. I apologize if this has already been asked but has anyone read "The Cuckoo's Calling"?
@Katy I listened to the Cuckoo's Calling on audio CD and thought it was excellent. The narrator did a great job with bringing the book to life. I highly recommend this book! The second in this series The Silkworm is being released in June. Can't wait!
Rfuentes wrote: "Has anyone read

Thanks Katelyn! I think I will buy it on my Kindle to read after I finish The Selection series. Right now I'm reading The Elite!
Has anyone read The Cuckoo's Calling by J.K. Rowling? I am really wanting to read it but want to know if its good!
Sherrie just said she liked Cuckoo's Calling. It appears we both listened to it on audiobook and we both liked it :)
@Kaylani you will love the Cuckoo's Calling! If you can get the audio from your library I highly recommend it!@Heidi, it seems you and I have very similar tastes in books! :) The second book in the Cormoran Strike series will be out soon. Can't wait!
I really liked
and
and
. I'm also on the side of
(the whole series) being amazing.
is one of my top series of all time, and I didn't care for
series although I read them all except for the novella. I do think the movie will probably be better and who doesn't love Dylan O'Brien?
Here are some that are on my shelf but I haven't read yet - are they any good? Has anyone read them? Are they good?
Alison wrote: "hola y'all, have any of u read the Percy Jackson series? debating on whether to put it on my. tbr list"I know this is late but I love that series! One of my favorites ever. :)
Jen wrote: "Here are some that are on my shelf but I haven't read yet - are they any good? Has anyone read them? Are they good?
[bookcover:Untimed|16277..."Out of all those books I've only read Imaginary Girls ... I liked it, although it was pretty confusing. It's a pretty strange book and not a lot is explained. But it was definitely memorable!
