I am coming to the end of this book, and was wondering if anyone else had read it and what they thought of it.

I thought the entire trilogy was very strong and having such an unlikeable main character was refreshing (see my reviews of all three books on Goodreads)
Jorg does grow and change and at the end achieves some sort of redemption, turning his single minded approach to problem solving (i.e. killing everyone) from his usual selfish aims to the greater good. He is not a character you should be understanding - he is a violent sociopath. What does happen is the reader better understands how his upbringing and external events have caused this to happen rather better.

Well I have read all of them. I overall liked the first book and kept reading the series with the hope it would have a moving ending where the main character changes or at least grows so that the reader begins to more truly understand him, but in that I was disappointed because this never happened. I was left wanting and the ending was flat.
