Alexander Engel-Hodgkinson (nexus_engel) | 46 comments Hey, guys. I've got some kind of murder mystery/action/black comedy/thriller hybrid that I'd like to get more reviews for. I've only got it in PDF format, and if it's not too much trouble I'd like to see your review on the Amazon.com and Goodreads webpages, but if you can only do one or the other then that's great too. ^-^

The basic synopsis is that it involves a bunch of criminals and ex-criminals who gather for a tea party. When one of the guests, the wife of a feared and volatile ex-gangster, turns up dead in the estate, these crooks struggle to hide all the evidence and root out the killer among them before the husband arrives.

It's fairly short, about 115 or so pages, and it's a relatively quick read. If you're interested, just drop your email and I'll send it right along as soon as I see your post! :)

Thanks, guys! ^-^

Feliks (dzerzhinsky) Sounds a little like the plot of 'The Phantom of Crestwood', (1932).

Question: are convicted prisoners passionate about good quality tea? How do the cons get out of the 'pen to attend the party (didn't the warden have anything to say about it?) And aren't the ex-cons worried about breaking their paroles?

:p

I guess I used that word wrong, from the sounds of it! LOL. Looks like I'll need to fix up that synopsis. Good catch.

No, they're criminals gathering in a mansion for some nice Sunday socializing and reminiscing. That is all. No warden, no prison breaks, no paroles. LOL.
