Fear
question
Is anyone kinda scarred from the Gone books? (if you know what I am talking about)

When I read these books, it wasn't the violence that grossed me out. Sometimes I wonder just how messed up this author is.. :o
I'm not scarred but I can see how you could be. A lot of kids got messed up in this series.
i wasnt really scarred by all the torturing and stuff, but after i read the entire series, i planned something with my best friend about how if one day everyone above 15 poofs, we will meet at the nearest carrefour and gather materials and stock them somewhere. i couldnt get out of it for a long time, then i discarded it when i hit 15 haha i dont want to poof.
Meh, not really. I've read worse.
If you guys like gore try James Rollins.

Not scary. More like Depressing. Horribly Depressing! I don't like to do comparisons, but this series made the Hunger Games series like a cute puppy lol :P
I have more images to draw on when I'm alone in my room trying to go to sleep and thinking about the zombies from "The Walking Dead", but no, I wouldn't say I'm scarred.
I hated what Penny did to Cigar.
And I love Quin.

I read these books when I was, say, ten or some other terribly innocent age.
Yes, I was scarred.

The thing that "scarred" me was the opening chapter from book 2. That was when they were out in the field picking crops and the snakes that could bore into their bodies came up from the ground. I had to close the book and seriously debate whether I would continue the series. I did, but after that scene, everything else seemed minor.
I wouldn't say I was scared but maybe reading some scenes straight before bed wasn't my best idea.... for example Sam and Drake in the power plant!
