Dynamic and Static/ Round at Flat characters

When You Reach me has so many unique characters. The most developed character is Miranda obviously because she is the main character. I think that like most book the main character will become a dynamic one and change when she faces a problem. Currently I am on page one hundred twenty so I have figured out that the main problem is that Sal doesn't want to be her friend anymore. She constantly thinks about him and although she has found new friends she still misses him. At the climax I believe that Miranda will face a decision about her friendship with Sal. I think that when this book reaches the climax Miranda will have to make an important decision which will mentally change her or give her a new way of thinking.
