I enjoy fiction novels of about plagues with modern or scifi settings and I am having a hard time finding many. I have read some good ones over the years and I loved Blood Music probably the most in that genre. Any suggestions will be most welcome. I am not too interested in zombies. Thank you all so much...I always get fabulous recommendations when I ask about books.

A Journal of the Plague Year by Daniel Defoe an oldie, but goodie; surprisingly horrific tooThe Diary Of Samuel Pepys by Samuel Pepys for a more contemporary view of the same plague
So far, all great! Dan Quigley, thank you for the suggestion Diary of Samuel Pepys. I just picked it up for free for my Kindle. Thanks!
The Stand by Stephen KingThe Plague Dogs by Richard Adams
The Scarlet Plague by Jack London
OutbreakOutbreak by Robin Cook
and certainly -
The Plague by Albert Camus even if this one about much more than 'just a disease'!
