Angela M. (AngelaMariaConti) | 1 comments I need help on how to have the 'Get a copy' button direct readers to my book's website where it is available to purchase from. I have not listed the book on Amazon or other big name online store.
Thank you.

rivka Angela, book links to other sites are customized on a per-user basis (each user chooses theirs), not a per-book basis.

You could add a blog post to your profile with the purchase information.

Debbie's Spurts (D.A.) Once you customize your settings where your "get a copy" options show the http:// ______ whatever site, that site will show alphabetically in the list of links others see when customizing their "get a copy" settings.

Just makes it easier for anyone who later does choose to put that site in their "get a copy" links. If they are a customer of that site, they might already have put it on goodreads anyway where you can just customize your settings by choosing their link instead of creating your own.

(Works best when customizing your links if linking to portion of a website where you can search for books by isbn or at least by title -- I wouldn't try to put a link directly to a specific product page as not likely to work with "get a copy" feature).

If by "my book's website" you mean your author website/blog or publisher website with useful book details, rather than a bookseller/retail page selling the book -- that's not really suited to "get a copy" but might be suited to the URL field. I'd ask over in librarians group if you think it's valid as a book URL (rather than as a purchase link for the get a copy buttons) and they might add it for you.
