Will Robie series dates wrong

The first publish date for most are Jan 1.

Will Robie 2: The Hit - ok with Apr 23, 2013
Will Robie 2.5: Bullseye - Feb 4, 2014
Will Robie 3: The Target - Apr 22, 2014
Will Robie 4: The Quilty - Nov 17, 2015

I don't understand. All four of these books have the right Published date in Goodreads but the "first published date" is wrong.

Will Robie #3 hardcover says:
Published April 22nd 2014 by Grand Central Publishing (first published January 1st 2014)

The Published date is more accurate as Jan 1 is the "default" date as I was told by other librarians.

All the main versions show the correct Published date

Regarding The Innocent: There is one edition labelled April 1, 2012 on Amazon that GR records only 2012 The Innocent. Therefore, it appears the original publication date (OPD) should be 4/1/12.

Regarding The Hit: MacMillan published an open market edition on April 11, 2013 per Amazon. OPD now 4/11/13.

Regarding Bullseye: There is a Kindle edition with a publication date of April 1, 2014; but, as that ASIN no longer exists, it cannot be confirmed. The ISBN-13 9781306742535 edition comes up as invalid so I changed the publication date to year only from 1/1/14. As I cannot confirm any publication date prior to February 4, 2014, I have made that the OPD.

Regarding The Target: No publication found prior to April 22, 2014. OPD updated to that date.

Regarding The Guilty: The first publication date is showing as November 17, 2015 already (see top of page editions). The only edition with a date earlier is a Kindle edition (The Guilty: A Will Robie Novel 4), which no longer exists on Amazon and thus cannot be confirmed. No change in OPD.
