Hello there! My name is Eva Todasco, and I'm thrilled to bring you my memoir "Rascals and Other Good Men" published in ebook and paperback on Amazon. It tells of my adventures and misadventures after I joined my safari-leader boyfriend in South Africa in 1971 during the Apartheid era.
After a turbulent break-up, I survived as a portrait artist, and painted along the scenic coast of Zululand, trying to remain a free spirit in what was then a man's world.
Later, travel with me as I lead exciting tours to worldwide destinations, all the while hoping to meet the right one to live a happy life with.
Enjoy this intimate true story of love and desire, seduction, travel, humour and spirited adventure, my only defense being the folly of youth. Sweet, outrageous memories that never leave me and have come to life again in this book.

I am a first time, self published author and am looking to have my book reviewed - any recommendations and advice on the best way to do this would be greatly appreciated
thank you

Hi, I am also a new author and am looking for the same thing! Would you be up for a review swap? I'll review yours and you review mind? Drop me a message or email me isabellathrower@outlook.com!

My name is Paul, and I just had my first book published on Amazon.
I would appreciate some reviews on my Novel ‘Thy Birthright - Foreshadowing’.
It is about a dystopian future where scientific advancements have led to extending human life. However, the cost of living longer soon became apparent as population surged. People now struggle against a brutal population control law, and aside from that, a threat of a global catastrophe looms as the once revered life-extending serum causes side effects which turns people into mindless, violent, bloodthirsty, infectious monsters. Follow Samantha, an expecting mother, into her journey through this unforgiving world.

I am giving my first book, SinghApour: A Thrilling Treasure Adventure For Humanity's Future, FREE for a limited time.
You can get your FREE Book On Christmas here: https://bit.ly./DiscoverSinghApour
You can also visit my website: www.victorjbooks.com

It covers genres of Action, Crime, Thriller, and a little bit of mystery.
It would be helpful if someone can read my novella and give a genuine feedback to me and an assurance of a review after publishing.
Thank you. Have a great day :-)

I'll read anything from classic literature to cereal boxes to technical manuals. I just don't do scary, gross, or sexy. I absolutely love being on the internet because most of it is just interactive reading.
I also like to write. I'm better at instructional and research writing, but like to try my hand at creative writing every once in a while.
I'm wanting to learn how to accurately evaluate the technical aspects of another author's writing to provide informed and accurate reviews, so I'll be reading a lot of reviews here, especially of books I've already read.
Any tips or links to learning materials that you can provide would be much appreciated, but I think just being in this group is going to help me learn a lot.

My name is Francine. I'm new to this group and to Goodreads in general. I'm looking for both friends and followers. I recently published my memoir "In the Land of Canaan: A Little Girl's Giants" and I'm looking for some people that would be willing to read it and provide a review. Here is the link if anyone is interested.

Celtiqa Books is an indie publisher of fresh voices. We've made tons of mistakes getting out the first three volumes of rom com short stories. We have three more volumes planned, plus 4 novels. [PG Rated, but not only up to 25...].
We're also launching a series of children's books, with some YA to follow.
In addition to looking for reviewers of our books, we are happy to review other author's work. .
Happy to discuss issues, etc over a (virtual) flat white (bearing in mind I'm in a remote part of Scotland and I often lose the internet mid post). We are still busy learning, so no doubt we'll make new mistakes along the way.

I am new to this group! Sadly, the way I found you was because someone sent me a link about a threatening email I received this morning. It is identical to the one in one of these threads. I am a newly published author in the horror genre. And, I LOVE to read a variety of genres. So, I am thankful to have found the group even if the way I found it wasn't so great.

I would love to exchange a book for a review on Amazon and Goodreads!

Evolutionary Divide: The Rise of Arcadia is a story about power, survival, and the price of progress in a society where technology has changed the rules of evolution.
I’m here to connect with others who appreciate dark, high-tech future stories that don’t flinch.
Looking forward to the discussions.

My favorite genres are horror, science-fiction, mystery/thriller, and fantasy - and all that falls in between, depending on what strikes my interest. I'm pretty open-minded when it comes to trying anything. I also am an aspiring author - I've been working on my own novels on the side, though have yet to publish anything. I also have a blog I'm trying to work on, but it's heavily under construction. Baby steps, as I tell myself... baby steps.
I am glad to be here and am hoping to get some recommendations, read and vote on reviews, and support my fellow readers/authors as much as I can! I'm pretty easy going, so don't hesitate to reach out and/or give a follow - I'll reply as soon as I am able. Honestly, I'm really excited just to connect with you all and look forward to future discussions. :)

I just published my first book last week—an Epic Fantasy inspired by ancient mythology, and some antique items I discovered during my travels in Europe. I hope readers will enjoy it, and I’d truly appreciate your support!
I’d be delighted to send a KDP copy of my book as a gift to anyone interested in writing a review.

I dare you to guess the climax. You'll love it! But don’t just take my word for it—read it and see for yourself.
"What we want to see and what is real are rarely the same thing."
The Twin Detectives are on the trail of a chilling serial killer—the Hammer Whisperer, whose brutal murders leave behind more questions than answers. When a rich young woman is found dead in her home, suspicion falls on those closest to her. What seemed an open and shut case at first only becomes more twisted than ever as the investigation progresses.
Who is the killer, and who is telling the truth?
Dive into this gripping mystery where every twist keeps you guessing until the very end. The truth will unravel in ways you never expected, and it'll leave you questioning everything you thought you knew.
Will the Twin Detectives uncover the real killer? Find out in Shattered Faces.
Read it, enjoy it, and if you like it, please leave a review. Your support means a lot.
Shattered Faces

My first novel, An Independent Heart, is about love and marriage and the bonds they put on us. This was something I was trying to come to terms with at the time I wrote it, and since I enjoy reading Jane Austen and Georgette Heyer, my ruminations took the form of a romantic novel set in 1814. I’m making it sound more profound than it is, though; it’s really simply a love story in a gorgeous countryside and country house setting, although it starts in London.
I’m currently working on my second novel, which revolves around a well-read heiress and a one-armed sea captain and is partly set in Greece.

1) The Invisible Cyber Bully: What it's like to be watched 24/7—a psychological techno-thriller
2) The Anti-Bully Manual: How to fight bullies the cyber way—a collection of 6 guides for combating cyber bullying
3) My Mother, the Good Witch Doctor: How Mom helped princesses with dyslexia—a fairytale-inspired illustrated children's book
The first two are currently FREE on Kindle Unlimited. When you have time, do check them out. They're all available here: linktr.ee/expatscribe.
Anyone open to new GR friends, feel free to add me. Thanks!

I'm Scott Gordon, author and avid reader. Been on Goodreads for less than a year and am working at becoming more active here--lots of starts and stops.

My name's Mark and I'm just getting out my first fantasy novel, The Quartermastra. It's sort of in between genres (somewhere between grim dark and epic, literary fiction and fantasy), so I call it middle-high fantasy.
I've been an advertising copywriter and high-school English teacher and may have at one point written a DnD sourcebook.

I'm an author who writes primarily horror, I'm also new to the publishing realm and really everything involved with it. I was hoping I might find some readers here who would be interested in dark-lit fiction. I've put the book up for free until Friday (21st), if you miss the date I'm sure I can float you the book in some other way, just shoot me a message. Anyways, it seems the success of ebooks are heavily reliant on reviews, so if it suits your comfort, any reviews would be immensley appreciated.
Happy to be here, I don't think I've been on a discussion group since the 90's (lol)
Whoever you might be, have a wonderful day.

I am a first time author from Northern Canada. My book 'Being Broken' was only recently published a couple of weeks ago. It is a memoir about childhood trauma and abuse my sister and I had to go through which ultimately ended with her death from fentanyl poisoning.

This is all new to me so I'm just connecting to the community.
Thank you!

What a brilliant idea linking authors with enthusiastic reviewers in this group.
Previously I have published play scripts and promoted them directly to drama groups. I have had short stories published in magazines (zero marketing required) but this is my first foray into self-publishing fiction and I'm in the early stages of finding my way.
My two works of fiction were published on Amazon about a month ago and I put them in the 5-day Free Book Promotion. I was delighted to get immediate downloads but no reviews as yet.
So, here I am hoping to engage with you experienced reviewers, with authors who are further along the learning curve, and learn from your feedback.
Thank you for this opportunity.

Crown’s Echo: Five Kingdoms takes you into a broken elven realm, where Princess Signy is struggling to find her voice and the truth about her legacy. Bound by tradition and the cold expectations of her father, she fights not only for herself but for the fate of all five kingdoms. When a dark elven king, Aros—sworn enemy of her father and the key to an ancient prophecy—enters her life, everything she thought she knew begins to unravel.
Meanwhile, a greater evil is awakening. Prophets are disappearing, and monstrous creatures from the Dark Forest begin to rise under the command of DeMork—a sinister force whose true nature remains unknown. This isn’t just a battle between light and dark. It’s a story of identity, forbidden love, buried truths, and the choices that shape the destiny of a world.
If you love epic fantasy with strong female leads, slow-burn tension, ancient prophecies, and a touch of darkness—welcome to Crown’s Echo.

My name is Eric Craigle and I am an Author.
I write, illustrated, create, read, craft, amongst many other things as well. I joined this site to in hopes to bring others along the journey with the realm I am forging a path within for others while also making acquaintances / collaborators / friends along the way.

I write fantasy mostly but I have also written Sci Fi. My series, Pretoria Chronicles, is a fantasy/Sci Fi mash up. The first book, Harbinger, is heavy on the fantasy, second book delves a little more into Sci Fi and the rest of the series will be both. I have heavy redemption themes and a lot of mystical stuff. My main species have feline facial features, elf ears and humanoid bodies.
If you like fantasy and unique characters check out my book. I am terrible with social media right now but I'm learning lol.
I love reading so this is a good place for me to find some great reads. I look forward to finding my next favorite author!

I am the author of The Birthmark Murders. I live in New Zealand but came here from Finland. So, I wear two cultural hats and two passports.
I love cosy murder mysteries with eccentric characters.

I would like some reviews and critics too!
The story is more of a twist plot of the famous fairytale "Snow White" Where Stepmother gets to tell her part of the truth!
It's a temptation to clear the well known stereotype about stepmothers. In this tale, Snow white is not innocent and the Queen is not Evil, new characters are added and some cleared but the whole story changed!

We’re reaching out to a select group of readers from across Goodreads with something we believe you’ll connect with on a deeper level.
How I Almost Ruled the World is a newly launching political fiction novel that explores how systems slowly erode — not through chaos, but through quiet consent. It’s unsettling, timely, and surprisingly hopeful. The kind of story that doesn’t just entertain — it lingers.
We’re offering early digital access to a limited number of readers ahead of the official release.
This 60-second trailer is already giving people chills — and it’s just the beginning → https://pokeyquillpublishing.com
We’ve had a lot of interest in early copies, so we’re keeping things simple — just send us an email at the address below to be considered:
