Eva Todasco (evatodasco) | 1 comments GOODREADS GIVEAWAY until December 14th. (eBook)

Hello there! My name is Eva Todasco, and I'm thrilled to bring you my memoir "Rascals and Other Good Men" published in ebook and paperback on Amazon. It tells of my adventures and misadventures after I joined my safari-leader boyfriend in South Africa in 1971 during the Apartheid era.
After a turbulent break-up, I survived as a portrait artist, and painted along the scenic coast of Zululand, trying to remain a free spirit in what was then a man's world.
Later, travel with me as I lead exciting tours to worldwide destinations, all the while hoping to meet the right one to live a happy life with.
Enjoy this intimate true story of love and desire, seduction, travel, humour and spirited adventure, my only defense being the folly of youth. Sweet, outrageous memories that never leave me and have come to life again in this book.

Paul Fabella | 4 comments Hello everyone,

My name is Paul, and I just had my first book published on Amazon.
I would appreciate some reviews on my Novel ‘Thy Birthright - Foreshadowing’.

It is about a dystopian future where scientific advancements have led to extending human life. However, the cost of living longer soon became apparent as population surged. People now struggle against a brutal population control law, and aside from that, a threat of a global catastrophe looms as the once revered life-extending serum causes side effects which turns people into mindless, violent, bloodthirsty, infectious monsters. Follow Samantha, an expecting mother, into her journey through this unforgiving world.

Kelly Lee | 1 comments I'm Kelly, a devout Christian and an avid reader for about 56 years. The first book I could read by myself was The Night Before Christmas by Clement Moore. I went on to read all the classic and popular books for children but also learned to read in my mother's nursing textbooks (Obstetrics & Gynecology was especially interesting) and our Collier's Encyclopedia set.

I'll read anything from classic literature to cereal boxes to technical manuals. I just don't do scary, gross, or sexy. I absolutely love being on the internet because most of it is just interactive reading.

I also like to write. I'm better at instructional and research writing, but like to try my hand at creative writing every once in a while.

I'm wanting to learn how to accurately evaluate the technical aspects of another author's writing to provide informed and accurate reviews, so I'll be reading a lot of reviews here, especially of books I've already read.

Any tips or links to learning materials that you can provide would be much appreciated, but I think just being in this group is going to help me learn a lot.

Celtiqa Books (celtiqabooks) | 1 comments Hello everyone!

Celtiqa Books is an indie publisher of fresh voices. We've made tons of mistakes getting out the first three volumes of rom com short stories. We have three more volumes planned, plus 4 novels. [PG Rated, but not only up to 25...].

We're also launching a series of children's books, with some YA to follow.

In addition to looking for reviewers of our books, we are happy to review other author's work. .

Happy to discuss issues, etc over a (virtual) flat white (bearing in mind I'm in a remote part of Scotland and I often lose the internet mid post). We are still busy learning, so no doubt we'll make new mistakes along the way.

Belle Harker (postscriptum) | 7 comments Hi, everyone! I'm Belle, and I'm an avid reader / honest reviewer here on Goodreads who is always looking for something new... well, to read and review.

My favorite genres are horror, science-fiction, mystery/thriller, and fantasy - and all that falls in between, depending on what strikes my interest. I'm pretty open-minded when it comes to trying anything. I also am an aspiring author - I've been working on my own novels on the side, though have yet to publish anything. I also have a blog I'm trying to work on, but it's heavily under construction. Baby steps, as I tell myself... baby steps.

I am glad to be here and am hoping to get some recommendations, read and vote on reviews, and support my fellow readers/authors as much as I can! I'm pretty easy going, so don't hesitate to reach out and/or give a follow - I'll reply as soon as I am able. Honestly, I'm really excited just to connect with you all and look forward to future discussions. :)

Elizabeth Grant (elsiegrant) Hello everyone! Allow me to introduce myself: my name’s Elizabeth Grant, but please call me Elsie. I write historical fiction set in the early nineteenth century.

My first novel, An Independent Heart, is about love and marriage and the bonds they put on us. This was something I was trying to come to terms with at the time I wrote it, and since I enjoy reading Jane Austen and Georgette Heyer, my ruminations took the form of a romantic novel set in 1814. I’m making it sound more profound than it is, though; it’s really simply a love story in a gorgeous countryside and country house setting, although it starts in London.

I’m currently working on my second novel, which revolves around a well-read heiress and a one-armed sea captain and is partly set in Greece.

My name's Mark and I'm just getting out my first fantasy novel, The Quartermastra. It's sort of in between genres (somewhere between grim dark and epic, literary fiction and fantasy), so I call it middle-high fantasy.

I've put the book up for free until Friday (21st), if you miss the date I'm sure I can float you the book in some other way, just shoot me a message. Christopher Kell (httpswwwchriskellplayscom) | 2 comments Hello.
What a brilliant idea linking authors with enthusiastic reviewers in this group.

Previously I have published play scripts and promoted them directly to drama groups. I have had short stories published in magazines (zero marketing required) but this is my first foray into self-publishing fiction and I'm in the early stages of finding my way.

My two works of fiction were published on Amazon about a month ago and I put them in the 5-day Free Book Promotion. I was delighted to get immediate downloads but no reviews as yet.

So, here I am hoping to engage with you experienced reviewers, with authors who are further along the learning curve, and learn from your feedback.

Thank you for this opportunity.

message 2837: by Ermina (new)

Ermina Mujcic | 3 comments Hello all! My name is Emma (Ermina) and I write out of pure love for fantasy. Crown’s Echo is my debut novel (trilogy)—a story I carried within me for years and simply had to tell. I’ve always been inspired by fairy tales, Tolkien, and the belief that no character deserves to be forgotten.

Crown’s Echo: Five Kingdoms takes you into a broken elven realm, where Princess Signy is struggling to find her voice and the truth about her legacy. Bound by tradition and the cold expectations of her father, she fights not only for herself but for the fate of all five kingdoms. When a dark elven king, Aros—sworn enemy of her father and the key to an ancient prophecy—enters her life, everything she thought she knew begins to unravel.

Meanwhile, a greater evil is awakening. Prophets are disappearing, and monstrous creatures from the Dark Forest begin to rise under the command of DeMork—a sinister force whose true nature remains unknown. This isn’t just a battle between light and dark. It’s a story of identity, forbidden love, buried truths, and the choices that shape the destiny of a world.

If you love epic fantasy with strong female leads, slow-burn tension, ancient prophecies, and a touch of darkness—welcome to Crown’s Echo.

I write fantasy mostly but I have also written Sci Fi. My series, Pretoria Chronicles, is a fantasy/Sci Fi mash up. The first book, Harbinger, is heavy on the fantasy, second book delves a little more into Sci Fi and the rest of the series will be both. I have heavy redemption themes and a lot of mystical stuff. My main species have feline facial features, elf ears and humanoid bodies.

I would like some reviews and critics too!

The story is more of a twist plot of the famous fairytale "Snow White" Where Stepmother gets to tell her part of the truth!

It's a temptation to clear the well known stereotype about stepmothers. In this tale, Snow white is not innocent and the Queen is not Evil, new characters are added and some cleared but the whole story changed!
