Igor Shnayder | 7 comments Good day, readers!

My name is Igor Shnayder and I am delighted to present to you my first book "Mur, the Kitty-Knight Adventures in the Fairy-Tale Animal World", a compilation of short stories with illustrations. It's a children's book about a kitten-knight named Mur who grows up and learns about kindness, courage, wisdom, friendship, empathy, as well as how to protect and assist those who are weaker.

I would greatly appreciate your thoughts and reviews.

Currently, the book is available free via KindleUnlimited in British, German, French, and other Amazon markets.

Isaac Jones (isaacdjones) Hey everyone!

I'm a master's student studying religious trauma and it's impacts on decision making. Specifically, I am making the argument that cultic and religious literature need to be homogenized into a cohesive body of work, since psychology at this point recognizes no difference between the two colloquial categories. My work includes examining traditional beliefs and practices and how they often cause unintentional harm, hermeneutical injustice, spiritual abuse, doxastic circumscription, Christian theology, deconstruction, and coercive/fear-based messaging.

My email is ijones@ego.thechicagoschool.edu if you are interested in a review within this realm!

Thanks,
Isaac :)

Aria Cassidy thought she had it all. She had her bakery and her best friend by her side. She attended lavish events and had the privilege of running her own business. After a chance encounter with a mysterious stranger, she suddenly felt like something was missing from her life- or someone. Lucian De Angelis was one of the city's most sought after bachelors. He had everything a man of his status should have including his pick of women. But it wasn't just any woman that caught his eye, he couldn't seem to get the petite brunette out of his mind. Joe Lee | 3 comments Hi All,

I recently published my first book on Amazon 😊

The Age of Discovery Volume I: Marco Polo
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CB8XN3NP

It will be free to download on the 20th of July, this Thursday and I will greatly appreciate your readership and reviews.

The Age of Discovery Volume I: Marco Polo is a history book and it is the first in a series that describe chronologically the more significant geographic discoveries, the lives of prominent travelers and explorers, as well as certain significant developments in the New World (such as piracy or slavery).

The book narrates the story of Marco Polo and the Polo family, their epic journeys throughout Eurasia, the rise and fall of the Mongol and Latin empires, the Silk Road, and the way they all shaped the lives of the Polos and charted the routes of their epic journey. It provides a historically true account of captivating and thought-provoking events, intertwined with a fascinating historical adventure, all written in a light-hearted and easy-to-read manner.

It puts a greater weight on the big-picture historical events as opposed to having a strict focus on the life and biography of one person. It also provides interesting insights into how such events forced the Polos to take certain routes. Last, but not least, it associates historic events with present-day realities in a slightly satiric but nonetheless valid final chapter.

While this is a history book, you will not find the usual academic dry, complex, formal, fact-rich text, filled with references. It is written in a simple, engaging, easy-to-read style, which at times can be even amusing.

I can provide PDF or EPUB copies to readers who would consider reviewing and you can also get it for free on the 20th of July this Thursday directly from Amazon.

I will be very grateful if you read it, very happy if you enjoy it, and will greatly appreciate it if you can provide an HONEST REVIEW.

I am a disabled autistic author, trans, queer, and a person of color. I thrive on writing dark fiction, horror, and dark poetry. I write novellas because I am autistic. I have a cognitive processing delay which makes retaining and comprehending information more difficult. I do my best work with well-thought-out plots explained in a minimalist fashion. Susan Shalev | 1 comments Hi everyone. I am excited to have found this group. I am looking for reviewers for my recently published WW2 Historical Novel The German Dressmaker.
The year is 1937. Heinrich, a Major in Hitler's Wehrmacht, meets Lily, a young, would-be dressmaker who has fallen on hard times. Romance blossoms but their liaison is forbidden by Nazi racial laws. A brutal attack forces them to flee Germany by ship, but the vessel flounders and sinks, dooming them to tragic separation, each believing the other has perished. Rescued separately to different towns in England, they must try to piece back together the fabric of their lives, in a foreign country under the cloud of war. This story tells of Lily's rise from lowly seamstress to fashion designer, and Heinrich's journey from enemy alien to spy for Military Intelligence. Throughout the unpredictable twists and turns of wartime their paths almost cross, making them tantalizingly close to finding each other, but they are destined to remain apart until....

Thank you. My name is Chuck Lovatt (pen name C. W. Lovatt) and I'm here looking for reviews for my fourteenth book, entitled "Yuri & the Pig," a standalone novel based on the current war in Ukraine.

The following is the blurb:

“From the best-selling author of the Charlie Smithers adventures.

A farmer and his pig set off on an extraordinary quest across war-torn Eastern Europe.

Entangled in a savage war, the country of Xoraina is fighting for its very existence; but to Yuri, a simple peasant from a remote mountain village, it seems all but certain that the invading Zlaimperians must ultimately prevail. Not that it is of any consequence to him, of course. In Yuri’s view, every form of government is equally bad, so it makes very little difference who holds the reins of power. Indeed, throughout time, the only things that have ever really mattered are that the soil be tilled, the cows milked, and the pigs shipped to market, all in a timely fashion.

But when an exorbitant new tax threatens that philosophy, he sets off with his pig across the war-ravaged land to the Capital in order to fight the injustice. In the process, their journey becomes a road to a terrible enlightenment, causing Yuri to question his deeply seated beliefs. But only when he and his pig find themselves placed squarely in destiny’s path is there any hope of those questions finding answers.”

If interested, please contact me at clovatt@xplornet.ca and I’ll arrange for you to receive an e-copy in the format you prefer.

Thank you for your time.

Rachel Nahabedian (rachel_nahabedian_vallance) 38 years old married no kids. Last year I read 24 books all year and set my goal to 50 for this year and I just finished 118!

Listen to audio books while working, e-books and physical in the morning and at night. Just discovered ARCs and have discovered some great authors and books.

2023 has been the year of me going in blind to a book. I've noticed it makes the mysteries more mysterious, the romance more romantic, the suspense more suspenseful. It's been a joy and I might keep it up past 2023. Romance is the only genre I need to read a little about before I read (lots of tropes that aren't my thing).

I shy away from reviews that just vomit a recap of the entire plot (hinders my going in blind year) and try to shy away from doing that myself. I don't take myself too seriously and appreciate the short, quick, to the point reviews that let me know how you really feel.
