Hi, K D,

Would you be interested in reviewing my historical fiction novella, THE WINDS OF MORNING? It's about 90 pages long & I'm told it's a quick read. Set in Victorian Ireland, it's based on true events and details one young woman's struggle to save her family during the Great Potato Famine of the mid-1800s.

I can provide a Mobi, Epub or PDF copy, whichever you prefer. You can contact me at giffmacshane (at) gmail.com if you're interested. Thanks!

Hannah Lander | 13 comments Hello there!
My name is Hannah Lander and I've just recently published the first book in a series of YA fiction novels that I've been working on for well over ten years now.

Lost in Life Book 1: Lost in Love

I'm really glad to finally be getting them out to the world!
There are six books in total and my plan is to publish one a year. ^^

Chris | 16 comments Hi Hannah!
That's great - and congratulations :)
I clicked on your amazon link Hannah... is it really true that there's only a print book version of your book, and it's $36.00 Canadian? And no ebook version?

That seems like it will be tough to sell. Maybe your book is a large graphic novel though... that would make more sense for the $36.00 price tag.

Anyway - good luck and best wishes.

Hannah Lander | 13 comments Hello! Thank you for checking it out!
The ebook version isn't out yet, but will be coming soon.

Although I enjoy full control over my book itself with the publisher I went with, they set the price for the final product.
There are a couple illustrations within the book, so it's possible that contributes.

message 2363: by Jason (new)

Jason Merchey Hi all, I'm Jason. My book is about wisdom, and it comes from a secular/humanistic, politically moderate or progressive place.

Here is my brief description:

"Wisdom is a fascinating research-based yet personal take on that place where philosophy, psychology, well-being, personal growth, spirituality, politics, and American culture come together. It is 389 pages, boasts an attractively-designed soft cover and cream colored pages, and is quite unique. It communicates "This is what wisdom is; here is how it is useful for me; within is inspiration for how it can be useful for you--and the United States as an ailing society."

The book is an amalgam of philosophy, psychology, and personal growth and has the ultimate goal of helping individuals who are motivated to make progress toward the ideal of wisdom as more than an aspiration—a character strength. Merchey takes a wide-angle, societal view as well."

I welcome any questions. I am certainly trying to get folks from my target market to read it, potentially review it, and of course, buy it. I'm happy to do what I can to help like-minded authors as well.

Brieanna Wilkoff (brieannawilkoff) | 5 comments Hi, everyone! I'm Brieanna and I love reading and writing young adult books. My debut YA novel, I'LL BE THERE FOR YOU, will be published this fall:

Since her dad’s death, Rae has been grieving to a soundtrack of the ’80s rock songs he loved, resigned to her life of solitary sorrow. But Mac, a boy with a charming smile who thinks any problem can be solved with a show tune, pulls her into the world of high school theatre and slowly worms his way into her heart, giving her friendship and hope for romance—and the potential for more heartbreak.

I'm excited to meet you all and join in the fun here!

Ruthie (ruthieram_reads) | 3 comments I'm an avid book reader and reviewer and I run a bookstagram @ram_reads with over 2,000 followers. I also have Twitter and TikTok and promote books there as well.

I love helping to support indie published(small publishing house) and self-published authors.

You can hire me to promote your books including: reading, reviewing (on Goodreads, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, etc), creating creative feature Instagram/TikTok posts, and conducting an Author Interview with you on Instagram. I have various packages to choose from and my pricing is very reasonable.

I've already worked with several self-published authors and you can reach out to them to see what they thought of my work.

A.R. Clinton author of Song of Sundering

Ann Humphreys author of The Tao of Hoop: On the Transformational Practice of Hula-Hooping

Jenny White author of Break The Chains A story of love against all the odds by Jenny White

Brian McMahon author of C.H.O.N.A.S THE INVADER by Brian McMahon

L.L. Lewin author of Neptune's Window First Glance by L.L. Lewin

Jo Gache author of Zalkea Origins by Jo Gache

Katie Masterman author of The Doll House by Katie Masterman

Stella Kuwonu author of 30ANS When Everything Fails at 30

and AJ Navab author of Daybreak by A.J. Navab

Send me a message here on Goodreads, an email at ram_reads@yahoo.com, or check out my social pages like Instagram @ram_reads to see what the posts would look like and send me a direct message there.

I'll read your synopsis first to see if it sounds like something I would enjoy reading, I read almost anything.

Paying for book promotions: review/creative social media posts doesn't guarantee a higher star review. The payment is for my time, effort, and for the reach of my platform.

I look forward to hearing from y'all!

Barbara Linkous | 1 comments I am new to writing. I have two books that I self-published on Amazon.
Cora's Story is a short historical fiction set in rural northeastern Tennessee. It is a first-person account of a young girl who faces the death of her father, abandonment from her mother, bullying, family struggles, rejection, sexual assault, and loss of a child. Cora's Story will entertain and encourage the reader as she finds redemption and a life filled with the grace of God.

Words Attitudes Actions is a collection of inspiring thoughts intended to encourage those who don't have a consistent prayer life to take a few minutes for daily prayer.

Cora's Story: Life On Bays Mountain

Words Attitudes Actions: A collection of inspiring thoughts that will encourage you to start with prayer

Both of my books are in Kindle Unlimited, eBook and paperback. Cora's Story is also available in Audible. I would very much appreciate honest reviews.
Thanks,
Barbara Linkous

R Crescent (rfcrescent) | 2 comments Hello! I am a Personal Assistant working with writers to help them out so that they can focus on writing while I focus on everything else.

I love horror novels the most, but read just about anything speculative fiction, and even read true crime and non-fiction! When I'm doing reviews, I try hard to see the book for what it is and the author's intention as well as generally "how did I like it!" And like many others have posted here, if I feel it's not worth a least 3 stars, I just move on without reviewing. I've only broken this a few times and don't like doing it. . . I have to be very much in the mind set of "people need to be warned" rather than "I hated this."

I am very happy to be here and looking forward to the experience.

Stephen Birchard (stephen-birchard) | 1 comments Do you love dogs, or cats, or both? If you're an animal lover like me, read on. I'm a retired veterinarian who, after 46 years, still loves my profession. After writing many clinical research papers and textbook chapters during my academic career, I've now published a book for pet owners: "Their Tails Kept Wagging", a collection of moving stories about pets with serious illness who survived thanks to modern medicine and owners' love. Example: an affectionate 1 year old yellow Labrador retriever was shot completely through her heart with an arrow and, after major thoracic surgery and critical care, survived and is still alive 15 years later. Now are you interested? I'd love to send you the book for your review, or even just some informal feedback. Thanks. Here's the link: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/6...
