Chloe Hodge | 2 comments Hello fellow bibliophiles and authors!

I'm an indie fantasy author with three published books out in a YA Fantasy series called Guardians of the Grove. (I'm looking for reviewers if anyone is interested)

I'm currently working on a NA Dark Fantasy with witches, folklore, and cultists which has been so fun to write thus far. When I'm not writing, I'm editing manuscripts for other authors or reading! I love all things fantasy and sci-fi :)

Charisse Moritz | 115 comments How nice of you to offer your time! Welcome and thank you. You're going to be overwhelmed with requests and have your pick of some amazing titles. If you're interested in mature YA romance (intended for 18+ readers due to explicit content), I'd be delighted to share one or both of my books. They are stand-alone stories with cross-over characters and HEAs. I've provided links below. You can contact me right here or via email at ugarps@yahoo.com. I'll hope to hear from you! Charisse

Kim Lockhart (kimlockhart) Hi everyone!

I'm Kim and I write a lot of Goodreads book reviews. My goals are to be fair in my overall assessments, to portray the specifics of the reading experience, and to avoid plot reveals. I don't write summaries.

I also post short reviews on Twitter.

As for genres, I read mostly historical fiction, as well as SFF, magical realism, slipstream, LBGTQIA+, and of late, I've been enjoying more horror and graphic novels.

I read about five books a week. Occasionally, I throw in a nonfiction book, and/or poetry (hardest to review).

Hi, Kim, since you enjoy historical fiction, I have a novella entitled THE WINDS OF MORNING, which is set in the Victorian era during the Great Irish Potato Famine. It's only 94 pages, so a real quick read, and it sure could use some reviews. You can contact me at giffmacshane (at) gmail (dot) com, & I'll send you a EPUB, MOBI or PDF version, whichever you prefer.

Thanks! Giff

Mike Mollman | 1 comments Becoming a Druid
Hi, I'm a debut author who is busy developing new neuroses. I grew up with three very competitive brothers, so I never learned how to handle the whole complement thing. Reviews for my book have been embarrassingly good, so I spend time trying to figure out the reviewers' real motives. So please, if you choose to read my book, leave a review, (but I'll only believe the bad ones).

C.W. Lovatt (cwlovatt) | 25 comments Hello,
My pen name is C W Lovatt, and I'm looking for reviews on Amazon and Goodreads for my latest historical fiction novel, "Dolly Pleasance," a spinoff from my Charlie Smithers Collection.
Here's the blurb:
"From the best-selling author of Charlie Smithers and Josiah Stubb.

Come, meet the actress, Dolly Pleasance. Born into a life of poverty and abuse in the midst of 19th Century London, Dolly’s only salvation is her passion for the theatre. Follow her career, from rags to riches, over a span of twenty years.

Rejoice as she captures the hearts of thousands, fret as she attempts to avoid the clutches of a murderous madman, and weep over the impossible love she has for one Charlie Smithers."

If interested, send your email address and format preference to clovatt@xplornet.ca, and my publisher will send you a copy.

Thank you

Richard Becker (richardrbecker) | 11 comments Hi everyone! My name is Rich Becker (Richard R. Becker) and I'm the author of 50 States. I'm an eclectic reader, which explains why I'm an eclectic writer, and read somewhere between 40-50 books a year (reading/listening to four at any time).

I also work as a commercial writer (marketing, advertising, public relations), which is a different kind of writing. While commercial writing has kept me busy for more than 30 years, I'm making a shift toward writing fiction full time.

I'm very happy to meet all of you and I'll keep an eye out for your books. I pick up lessor known or indie writers (including ARCs from BookSirens) about every third book or so. Feel free to connect anywhere online or reach out here anytime!

Hey Kurt. Nice to meet you. And sure, I often muse that there are more books than readers.

I'm pretty fortunate in that despite some challenges, book sales are steady and the reviews I have received are solid. So, I'm not too concerned. 50 States is doing its job as a debut.

Good luck to you too!

C.W. Lovatt (cwlovatt) | 25 comments Hi!
My name is C W Lovatt and I'm looking for reviews on Amazon and/or Goodreads for two books, both historical fiction taking place in the British Isles. The first, "Dolly Pleasance," is a spinoff from my best selling Charlie Smithers adventure series, and the second, "Adventures in Arran," is a continuation of that series, but pertains to "Dolly Pleasance" as well.
This is Dolly's blurb: "From the best-selling author of Charlie Smithers and Josiah Stubb.

And this is the blurb for "Adventures in Arran": "Book 4 in the best-selling Charlie Smithers series.

One year after Germany’s decisive victory in the Franco-German War, a delegation arrives on Great Britain’s shores, ostensibly offering the gift of friendship. However, our hero, Charlie Smithers - manservant to the walking disaster, Lord Brampton, and one of Lord Elgin’s vaunted Specials - has his suspicions that something sinister is in the wind. What’s more, Great Britain’s Prime Minister, William Gladstone, agrees. Tasked to investigate, Charlie soon finds that all indicators lead to Scotland, and the Isle of Arran.

Setting forth, with only a makeup artist as his faithful companion, and a feisty redhead as his guide, Charlie must overcome the haunting memories of Dolly Pleasance to remain focused on his mission. At stake is no less than the fate of Great Britain and, indeed, the entire world."

If you would like to review either or both of these books get in touch with me at clovatt@xplornet.ca and I'll see that a copy is sent out to you straight away. Thank you.

Jake Floth | 1 comments Hello all you happy people.

I'm here because I have spent the better part of 3 years reviewing books for the recovery community in Lincoln, NE. I am a recovering addict and alcoholic and books saved my life, quite literally (bullet was stopped by a book). I figured I have openly reviewed enough books in sober book clubs around the state, now I would begin reviewing these books online to fill up more of my free time.

I have a passion for fantasy, sci-fi and alt-fiction. Anything that takes my mind off deep, dark crap, I am all for. My reviews are short, sweet, and hopefully give good advice on what to read when you're unsure of where to start.

Drop me a line so I can get used to this set up.

Hi. My name is Barbara Martinez. I live in a small town in Florida in a 100 year plus old Folk Victorian with my husband and 4 cats. My book, A Disloyal Element, was released on Amazon Kindle in September. It's a novel of historical fiction and historical romance set in Richmond, Virginia. I'd love to connect here to people interested in historical fiction set in 19th century America. There is a romance in the story that is critical to its telling, but it's heat level is set at simmer. Eric | 4 comments Hello, my name is Eric. I am a robot.

No really, but I am a writer. My last two books are Trading Lives and The Trespass. They are actually quite good, but like many of you, how the heck do you get readers without a lot of money, connections, a large publishing company, wealthy benefactors, a circus act, or two heads?

If I were a circus act, I'd put my two heads together and come up with a plan. Robbing a bank crossed my minds, but even a great mystery writer concealing the identity of a two-headed bank robber might have a time prolonging that reveal.

I know what you're thinking, how can a two-headed author not sell millions of books. Believe me, I've asked myself the same thing. Maybe a good angle would be to plead and beg for honest reviews....

So, if you're interested, I'd love to send readers of mysteries and suspense a book or two to read.

Thank you, thank you,
Eric Stoffle

Tom Lyons (tomlyons-author) | 5 comments Hi to all. Just published my fourth novel - Grumpy Old Man.
Available in Ebook or paperback at Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09PFDL64L

A 50 book giveaway is scheduled. I'm looking for reviews!! (Aren't we all??)

Thanks!
Tom Lyons

Book info:

Grumpy Old Man is a satire on present day life in SF East Bay Area. (Think Carl Hiassen writing about California)

When seventy-five-year-old multi-millionaire land owner Ramsay Marshall turns up dead in Lake Tahoe, his daughter Sophia suspects foul play. Sophia contacts Palmer Doyle. Palmer is a recently widowed, disabled Afghan War vet turned private investigator. He is hoping to retire soon, get out of the rat race, move to the mountains, when Sophia and her cancer-stricken father-in-law, show up at his office and ask him to investigate the death.

Sophia and Palmer have history together. Fifteen years ago, when Master Sergeant Palmer Doyle is seriously injured in a bomb explosion, Sophia is part of the U.S. Army medical team that nurses him back to health. At the time they were both married, but both are single now.

With his oddball staff of investigators, who have their own phobias, personal quirks, and agendas, Palmer sets out to uncover what really happened. Did the old rich guy die of natural causes? Or was foul play involved?

Set in the East Bay of San Francisco Bay area, Doyle, an old school guy, must navigate the crazy, non-sensical, often hilarious happenings, that occur in modern day life in California.

But people in the novel are not who they appear to be; plot twists keep the reader guessing until the final pages. And, what happened to one family decades ago, during World War 2, may hold the answer as to why certain injustices can never be forgotten, or forgiven, and that exacting revenge is often the best remedy.

This is Grumpy Old Man, a psychological thriller, a murder mystery, a love story, and a satire on the craziness of present-day pandemic life in the SF East Bay Area of California.

My name is Tom Lyons and I'm a published author and a voracious reader. Been reading approx. 75 - 100 books a year for over 50 years. My 4th novel has just been published. It's titled Grumpy Old Man.

Grumpy Old Man is a hysterical satire on present day life in the East Bay Area of San Francisco. (Think Carl Hiaasen writing about California, not Florida) This fast paced thriller is centered around an odd ball murder mystery that takes place during the Pandemic. Chock full of entertaining and weird plot twists it will keep you glued until the very last page. #gamblingaddict #bikinibarista #californiahomeless #sushimurders

It is available on Amazon at: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09PFDL64L

I look forward to being an active participant here on Goodreads! Thanks again!

Next week, to coincide with my fortfiftyish birthday, I’ll be running a free Kindle/eBook promotion on Amazon for the first book in my Amalrok series. A rather ambitious prequel to mankind on Earth, this epic series takes place on Mars long, long ago. Led by a stern priest, a motley company of adventurers take up a quest to save the world in the last days of the doomed planet. Fans of classic sword-and-sorcery fantasy will find the setting familiar, while the rich characters and engaging storylines will keep even the casual reader hooked and turning pages. Or so I’ve been told. By friends. So, I guess we’ll see. Anyway. Enjoy.

Tim
