Shawn Poalillo | 2 comments Hi, I'm Shawn - New author. I wrote - Rerun: A New Face of Terrorism.

I'm a retired Special Agent from Dept of Homeland Security and thought I'd write about what I did, but in fiction (can't talk about the real stuff).

Please give me feedback on my book and suggest books you'd think I'd like to read.

I'm also an avid reader, although a bit frustrated because I can't read as fast as I buy books. I even tried photoreading, but it didn't go well. Thanks God for audio books!

Warren Driggs | 3 comments My name is Warren Driggs. I’ve recently published A Tortoise in the Road, a novel which explores the controversial right to die/physician assisted suicide issue. My next novel, Swimming in Deep Water, is an historical fiction on the incredible life of Joseph Smith, the founder of Mormonism. What a life he had. He was murdered while serving time in jail, leaving nearly forty wives behind.
I am a recently retired lawyer, and my next two novels are courtroom dramas/legal thrillers. I hope to get them published later this year.

Jules Horne | 1 comments Hello! My book of short stories is free till midnight tonight (UK) and I'd love some reviews!

Most have been published, won awards or been adapted for radio/stage. They are darkly funny - sort of Ray Bradbury meets Angela Carter in small town Scotland. I've won 2 Edinburgh Fringe Firsts for stage writing, and this is my first fiction collection.

Reviews:
'A dazzling storyteller' - Amy Scheibe, Simon & Schuster.
**** for ALLOTMENT (The Scotsman, The Telegraph)

It's self-published because publishers wanted a novel, and not short stories :( So I'd be deeply grateful for any Amazon reviews to get it some readers!

Wrapped Town and Other Stories

My sister @Amanda R in Holland has recommended I post here. Hope that's OK and I haven't breached any etiquette - I'm new to this and finding my feet.

If you like quirky literary fiction, I also have Nanonovels out (not free tho!)
Nanonovels: Five-Minute Flash Fiction

Many thanks and hope you enjoy the stories.

My name is KayeC (pronounced like "Casey"... weird, I know) and I'm a recently published children's book author along with my wonderful husband.

To say that I'm excited about this new endeavor would be a vast over-statement. I'm positively giddy! And I can't wait to share our books with the world.

I'd be more than willing to participate in a review exchange or for any new friends. Picture books aren't the limit of my interests. Just no erotica, please. That's just not my cup of tea.

I cant' wait to hear from you!

Warmly,

Lee Burvine | 2 comments Hello to all,

Lee Burvine, author of The Kafir Project:

https://www.amazon.com/Kafir-Project-...

I have published before under my real name, but this book could literally put my life in danger, hence the pseudonym. It's dedicated to those murdered Bangladeshi bloggers whose fate I'm keen to avoid.

I believe in the goodness of reciprocity, so I'm here to give as well as get. I'll do my best in that regard.

Looking forward to meeting many of you and sharing thoughts and (I hope) useful private critique or public review when requested.

J. (jguenther) | 19 comments I'm J Guenther, engineer, playwright, occasional poet, and novelist. I've written 17 stage plays, my favorite form of creation. My plays have been performed in six venues in Southern California.

I grew up in a house with a room that had shelves on all four walls, roughly 3,000 books. We called it 'the den,' but it was really a library.

I love puzzles and have patents on two. My writing often involves puzzles of some sort. One of my poems is in the form of a puzzle. My latest book (nameless here for evermore) involves a locked room mystery, as well as an analysis of the murderer's mind, the most challenging form of puzzle.

Eric Gore | 7 comments Eric wrote: "Hi everyone! Hey, thanks for accepting me. I'm an avid reader and author. I hope to make a lot of friends here."

My debut novel, Vengeance Obtained, is a 210 page, action packed urban fantasy paranormal thriller. The story moves deftly between a winding storyline, involving the United States Military’s first contact with creatures of legend, against the backdrop of the protagonist’s role, an angelic being disguised as a nine hundred year old vampire named Marcel DeKrey, in a heavenly war between the loyal host of Heaven and the traitorous legion of the Lost Realm(Hell), culminating in a climactic battle for the survival of reality itself.

Kirkus Reviews calls the novel “…admirably audacious…A dense novel filled with excellent elements...” While Diane Donovan, lead editor for the Midwest Book Review, declares, “Insights on reality, supernatural battles, and a different interpretation of Judgment Day are nicely portrayed...action heats up from the initial military report and doesn’t let go.”

I came up with the idea for a story in which God would change reality when I was sitting at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia waiting by my then two year old daughter's bedside as she was in heart failure and on the donor's list.

As I sat by my baby’s hospital room night after night, hoping and praying to God for a miracle, I realized that for our child to live, it would most likely mean another child would have to die. I didn’t want any more children to die. I wanted God to change this, and I asked the Lord on behalf of all children including my own...I asked Him to change reality itself. This made me think of a story in which God would change reality.

I would love to exchange a paperback copy for an honest review if anyone is interested. My email is eric.goreEG@gmail.com
I would also like to review some stories for others if anyone would dare to trust me with their babies! I believe everyone has interesting stories to tell and I love listening to people. I don't believe there is any such thing as a bad book, only poorly told stories. If anyone wants to know more about me or just wants to talk about anything, just contact me! Thanks! Poise | 3 comments Hi all,
Contemporary Romance/Suspense: Beyond A Dream In Paris

I am Poise, I am a new author, just finished my first novel, a contemporary romance with lots of suspense/mystery. I have worked for several months with a renowned editor and pretty contented with her work. However, I just need other thoughts and eyes to read my work before I proceed to publishing phase. My email me here if interested cpoised8@gmail.com.

I am looking for well-experienced author/reviewer/editors, that will read my manuscript and return in a decent time. I intend to put some of the candid reviews on the front and back cover of my book.

Thank you for the interest! :)

This book is woven into lines of passion, love, humor, fate(co-incidence) and forgiveness.

Quick Synopsis:
Paris Singleton, known by her friends as smart, hardworking and “the very perfect” girl. At 26 she has the perfect career, working side by side with a Billionaire. Her professional life couldn’t have been more amazing.

Paris knew if given a million options she'd go for this very life, yes, this very one regardless... Geez, did she love her crazy, no-social, no-life, no-shag, career-freak life or what? Called crazy, but that was what she called for, and she was getting every pound of it. And oh, she dared not complain or whine about not having a life, because hopping in and out of a plane was the very life she wanted, well, not exactly in those terms. Haven clarified severally to her superficial and sexually liberated best friend, and her geeky bunch from work, that she didn't need to hop in and out of a man's bed to feel like she's got a life . . . but getting stuck in a clustered airport at night, really made her questioned her choices.

While she struggled through the night to get a decent rest before her next flight the following morning, incidentally, Justin stumbled into her life. Desperate for a minute of rest as well, after a rigorous trip from Afghanistan. He was finally heading home after 10 yrs in the middle-east to start a new life and desperately hoping to get the love of his life back.

What started as a strenuous clamor for a minute of rest, ended up as the most amazing coincidence of love, passion, misunderstanding, and forgiveness. A shocking family revelation, an endless trauma and who would have thought . . .

Dylan Quinn (goodreadscomdylanquinn) | 3 comments Hey there! I'm Dylan Quinn, publishing my debut novel Gemini June 21 which has been loosely compared to the 'Fallen' series! (not my first book, just the first to be published!) It's the first in a 7-part Urban Fantasy Romance series. I've been writing all my life. Literally. I was like, 6? Then 9 when I started seriously writing.

Anyhoo, I'm excited to meet readers and writers, and hopefully, find some lovely people who will love my stories as much as I do!

I write all genres of romance, b/c I'm a sucker for HEAs. In addition to my UFR series, I have a Contemporary Romance series that I hope to start publishing this fall, a MUCH steamier series than my UF, which teeters between contemporary and Romantic Suspense!

In addition, I've got tons of other singles and series in the works, (think Nicholas Sparks!) as well as 2 YA spin-offs from my two series I'm working on.

I'm looking forward to meeting you all!
Feel free to check out my website, and friend me on social media... it's the calm before the storm, my friends. :)

Stacy Rucker | 1 comments Hi. My name is Stacy Rucker. I recently published two books, An Orbit Away; my Life on Mars and Murder and the Rose Garden under the name Jaycee Relic. I am currently looking to publish more books. My method is probably a bit unorthodox. I wrote my books all at once, and now I plan to publish them all at once. It's not the instant process I hoped it would be, and there has been a lot to learn along the way.
Currently I am looking for people interested in reading and reviewing. With the first two, I didn't do this, and I think a little preparedness would have greatly helped my book launches. If you are interested in reading any of the titles on my website, please let me know, and I will send you a free copy. The ones that are nearly ready are Bigfoot Forever (a middle grade fiction book, not one of the ones listed on the site), Dream World and Shades of Alyssa.
I'm at stacyruckerbooks.com.
Looking forward to knowing you better.
