Hello everyone, I am Damian Cy and I read and write werewolf stories. Well, I actually like many other genres as well but lately I've been interested in werewolves. If you have time and are willing check out my take on the werewolf genre, a werewolf horror novella titled, Human in the Dark. It presents the werewolf condition in a more classical sense, in that it is uncontrollable and dangerous, but at the same time, the book also draws parallels into our own nature and makes us think about what the human condition is. Hi folks, nice to be here. I am a first time self-published author looking for reviews(aren't we all).
My novel is hard to chatacterise but I will quote a previous review from goodreads to help sum it up. 'It's funny and quirky with the odd bits of "ewww yuck" thrown in' I would descibe it as a dark fantasy/comedy with a bit of light-hearted horror thrown in. The story revolves around an inbred family of travelling undertakers who find themselves endowed with a 'bargain basement' form of immortality after being contracted to gather souls for Satan.
I'm not sure how this group works yet but can provide a PDF for review or it's free on KU, or I'm willing to swap reads and reviews..
