Michael Tappenden | 13 comments Hi. I'm Michael Tappenden and I'm sending this from sunny Kent (the Garden of England) in the South East corner of the UK. (No, not London. That's just up the road). EXCITING NEWS. My first book 'Pegasus to Paradise' is about to be re-issued by Eden Park Publishing as an ebook on 10 July so at the moment, pre-orders are a mere 99p. Hurry hurry. Second book 'A Long Dark Rainbow' is out now and is not for the fainthearted or those under fifty. Lovely to rub shoulders with other writers and readers. A bit of sanity in this bonkers world.

Hannah Byron Hi group! Hope you're all doing well! Greetings from Holland. My name is Hannah Byron and I'm currently launching a new career as a historical fiction author, specialized in the World Wars 1 & 2. My first book In Picardy's Fields will come out in September, quickly followed by 3 books on WW2. All with strong females as lead characters. My website goes live in 2 weeks so it's all very new and exciting. I will be looking for reviewers soon but I'm already- even before the launch- in search of ARC readers. Say, mid-July 2020. Please let me know if you're interested. I promise you history, heroines & high stakes. :-) Hope to hear from you, Hannah

Tina Smith (radgirlsmith) | 13 comments Hannah Byron, I would be very interested in ready your novel. I love historical fiction. Once of my favorites is The Nightingale. Do you have actual paperback copies of your book or is it pdf. I prefer a book to an e-book. Please let me know. Thanks very much. Tina Smith

message 1654: by Hannah (new)

Hannah Byron Hi Tina, oooh I loved The Nightingale too. Kristin Hannah's best book IMHO. Thank you so much for replying!! My book, In Picardy's Fields, is currently with my editor and I hope to have it back in early July. I'm first looking for ARC readers who could spot typos but let me know if you want to wait until it's completely ready for publication. I can send you the E-copy. Let's stay in touch!! Warm greetings, Hannah

C.J. McKivvik | 2 comments Hi everyone I'm CJ! I live in a small village in Ontario, Canada. When I'm not writing I'm thinking about writing, and/or running, and/or swimming and/or walking in the fields and forests. Like many Canadians, I am passionate about hockey and have a love-hate relationship with winter.

I just published my first novel, "The Secret of Immortality: The Tombmakers Village", an action/adventure/mystery. In it, Tom Carrott’s life turns into chaos when the director of his university research group drops dead while giving a speech, leaving the group unexpectedly bankrupt.
Tom stands to lose everything he cares about until an ancient Egyptian chest arrives on his doorstep, with a note from beyond the grave. Tom embarks on a dangerous and life-changing adventure in pursuit of the secret of immortality, with a fake researcher, the CIA, a beautiful Mossad agent named Eshe and a ruthless billionaire who will stop at nothing to obtain the secret.

Lies, friendship, love, danger, and greed are intertwined as Tom and Eshe race to solve the mystery before they lose everything, including their lives.

I would love to get some feedback and can't wait to join the conversations!

Thanks!

We are Mandy and Kendall, new to goodreads!
We are a yin and yang duo. Mandy loves erotica, romance...anything with a happy ending. Kendall is a thriller queen, but does branch out to other genres.

It's very nice to meet you all, looking forward to becoming a part of the goodreads community.

Charisse Moritz | 115 comments Welcome Mandy & Kendall! I would love to share my mature YA romance, Shatter (The Choosy Beggars Series Book One) with you. Due to mature content it is intended for 18+ readers and includes a HEA. I'm happy to provide a Mobi, Epub, PDF or Kindle copy. You can contact me here or at my email address ugarps@yahoo.com. I hope to hear from you. I've included a brief blurb below.
Cheers! Charisse Moritz

First day of senior year and Tia West just ran over a hot guy in the high school parking lot. In her defense, she’s a little preoccupied as the caretaker of five younger siblings, one dog, one cat, facing a mountain of bills and determined to keep her family together. The eternal optimist, she just needs to try harder, be better, take a deep breath and definitely shouldn’t bring home another stray dog or an angry, scary and scarred boy who is obviously in desperate need of a hug.
After a stint in juvie, Taz is back for senior year, and every minute is a struggle. His only defense is silence. Keeping quiet avoids the slaps, hits, threats and is as close to safe as he can manage. Until Tia West convinces him of possibilities he never knew existed. She fills every dark, empty space with a lightness he’s never experienced before, and the only way to keep her is by speaking up for himself. But his secrets are the kind that devastate and destroy.

Hi Donna.

If you have any interest in Japan, please check out my book called “No Pianos, Pets or Foreigners! My Life in Japan in the 80’s”. I can provide it electronically if you wish to review:

A young Japanese woman was running through Tokyo station screaming “Save me! Save me!” There was a Japanese man chasing her and closing in. He grabbed her wrist and caught her about 10 feet in front of me. The woman was still yelling “Save me! Save Me!” but the Japanese people in the crowded station ignored her, not wanting to get involved.

This is the beginning of just one of the stories from my experience living in Japan in the 1980’s, where I had moved right after graduating university. It was still rare to see an American who could speak Japanese fluently. This book guides the reader though my many adventures navigating through Japanese culture while living in the outskirts of Tokyo, as well as Tokyo proper.

And, yeah... that's that. If you like fantasy with gritty and realistic elements, I can provide. I'll leave a link to the series starter.

Eloy Colombo | 2 comments Evil Religions Unmasked by Eloy Rodrigo Colombo
Hi, everyone.

My name is Eloy Colombo, and I’m here to share with you a work I have done with all caress about the Abrahamic religions, that is, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. It was the search of my life.

I think that, like me, many of you always feel and thought that something is wrong in our culture; when we read with an open mind the bible’s texts, soaked in human blood, full of hatred but at the same telling about love it’s hard not to think that there are many things wrong there.

So, after decades studying many subjects, from history, economics, philosophy, theology, and ancient culture, specifically the Egyptian (yes, all the ways lead us there), I dared to challenge the Abrahamic religions.

I maintain, discuss, and answer many things like these:
- Christianity was responsible for destroying Roman and ancient Egyptian civilizations. It was not only the destruction of the Roman Empire, as many scholars think, only a religion like an Abrahamic one could have made such a thing as to vanish a civilization.
- In theology, it’s interesting to know how weak the Abrahamic theology is; there is almost no theology in Abrahamic religions! They not even can ask one of the most important theological questions, “who are the apparitions who have shown themselves to the so-called prophets?”
- Who would say that the mothers of modern atheism were the Abrahamic religions!
- And likewise, materialistic theories are their daughters too.
- If it is not enough, why not analyze the Abrahamic texts and their sources? I found it undeniable that they came from ancient Egyptian literature. The Old Testament from fictitious, fancy, and folk Egyptian literature and the New Testament clearly got sourced in some sacred Egyptian texts. Thus, are we facing the biggest fraud in human history?
- And I finished all of this discussion in a well-done conclusion that is there waiting for your reading.

I called my book “Evil Religions Unmasked.” I’m inviting you to read it on NetGalley, or I can upload your email on Google Play as a reviewer; if you want the latter option, send me a message, please.

I also made a website where you can watch a cinematic book trailer and read more about my path toward my accomplishments:wecolombo.com
There, on the homepage, is a link directly to the book on NetGalley.

I think that my work will add a lot to the debate about Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, and I’m looking forward to your thoughts.
