I try to be a well-rounded reader. I am always picking up new-to-me authors and reading books that might push my boundaries.

Here's a brief blurb:
He’s the boy who wants to disappear.
One mistake and seventeen-year-old Shake LeCasse lost everything. Now there’s no going back and no way to move forward. The once-popular Varsity hockey captain is living in the basement of a grandmother he barely knows, ditching school, avoiding friends and working hard on self-destruction.
She’s the girl nobody sees.
Cleo Lee survives however she can. Lie, cheat, steal, whatever it takes, and saving Mr. Popular isn’t part of the plan. Telling him the truth about the night that destroyed his life is downright dangerous. She needs to keep quiet, be smart and let the guy she’s been half in love with since middle school throw away a future she’d do anything to have. Too bad she sucks at playing it safe.

Hi Amber. I have a novel I think is a little different to the usual. It's essentially a thriller about two friends - one dead and the other slowly killing himself - who come to realise that in order to save themselves, they have to also save each other.
I can make it available for review in whatever format you prefer.
I have an author page (I cannot believe there might be two authors called Mark Eklid!) or you can email me at meklidbooks@gmail.com. I look forward to hearing from you

Hi Airess - been on the deployments, understand how slowly time goes there, so I'm glad you found a way to fill the time. I've written a series of fantasy - if you are a kindle primer reader you can download them for free. Magic's Genesis: The Grey is the name of the first in the series. Book 4 just came out a few days ago - probably be six in all. Would love to get a review from you. (and from anyone else who happens to read this message.)

My name is Monique Gliozzi. I am a new author and have published Foresight and hunted and had them reviewed by Goodreads and Indie reader reviewer. My third book, Vestige, is a ghost story and will be available very soon. I am looking forward to be a part of this group. Happy new year to all.

I read most genres of books because I like to put myself out of my comfort zone and try something new every often. I would say my favourite genre is psychology thrillers, or fantasy.
I hope to make some amazing connections here and I look forward to reviewing more books!

I’m Nicole Nadeau. I’m a new indie author and my first book, Death by Midnight: The Secret Life of Anna Goode series, just came out after I’ve been working on it for a few years.
Looking forward to connecting with everyone!

Hi, Emily. I have 2 books I would like more reviews for. There is a non-epic fantasy adventure that was shortlisted by the British Fantasy Soc for "Best Newcomer" in 2017 Exile and there is a contemporary fantasy set in southern England Shadows of Faerie . I can send ebooks of either one if they sound interesting

I love to read young adult fiction, dystopian/utopian, and I am trying to expand my genre of reading.
I would love to be able to read and review up and coming books before they come out. I have always loved writing and giving people my opinion on books.
I can't wait to see what everybody on here reads and find out about way more books.

Hi Rachel,
I have a book in desperate need of reviewing. The only problem is that it isn't the genres you mentioned, it is teen romance. Would you be willing to give it a try?

Favorite genres: YA, Contemporary Fiction, Thriller, dystopian/Utopian.
Super excited to be a part of the group :)

Just published by first novel with a UK publisher and have a few more in the works back home.
Still on my "L"s at Goodreads but would like to build my connections. I write dystopian scifi with social issues at heart. I'm passionate about ableism, diversity and the power of the underdog.
Any other dystopia lovers out there? Thanks!!

I'm a relatively new reviewer just getting started on my blog and on Goodreads.
I'd love to get better at writing reviews, and I'm excited to be a part of this group!

I’m an author of humorous fantasies and reviewer (fantasy and mystery). My next book, HEXED IN TEXAS, Book 1 in the Baba Yaga Chronicles, will be published soon. My Goodreads author page is Kathy Burford and my email is kathy@kathyburford.com. I’d be happy to send you an ARC if you are interested and would appreciate an honest review if you enjoy it.
Thanks!
Kathy

I am a health nerd, writer, and home baker. I love desserts and recently published a book called: The Dessert Diet Club: The Indulgent Guide to Food Freedom
One day I hope to have my own cooking show and have recently started a food blog www.thedessertdietclub.com.

I released Sydrome on paperback on January 14, 2020, and then the Kindle version on January 17. I’m already writing my next book, which will be a novella.
I love writing. I’ve been doing it since I was in elementary school. I used to work in film and did some sports writing. Now I’m doing what I always wanted to do: write books.
When it comes to reading, I actually prefer audiobooks, just because that’s the best way I can retain the information. Plus, I’m always doing something productive, so audio allows me to multitask, even when I’m trying to go to sleep.

I hope you have just as much fun reading it as I did writing it.
Thank you,

Welcome to the group. My name is Dr Monique Gliozzi and I've just self published my third novella Vestige (a ghost story). I started writing in 2017 and published Foresight & Hunted in 2019. I always loved reading , playing sports, riding my motorbike and working as a senior flight instructor on weekends. My day job is in the hospital. I'm impressed with your resume. I am looking to make Vestige into a film, are you aware through your contacts of a producer/director who may be interested?

I never imagined someday I could write a book. But after listening to a beautiful song that made me imagine the plot of the story in my mind, I asked to myself, "why not writing a book?"
I originally wrote it in English. My dream was to publish my novel in the US.
It took me months to finish writing the novel, but I made constant changes because I was getting rejected by literary agents. (The changes were to make the story better)
I sent around 70 query letters throughout 5 months and everyone said the typical, "it's not what I'm looking for." That's why I decided to self-publish.
If you've sent query letters before, then you know it can be painful. But I believe that all these rejections made me give the best version of myself by showing a great commitment to make a great story.
Last Christmas, I received an email from Readers' Favorite saying that the review of my novel was ready. I was freaking out. My body was shaking as if I was a jelly. Before going to the living room, I prayed and beg God that the review can be good. When I log in in the website and find that my novel received a five-star-rating I broke down in tears. It was a biblical moment I will never forget.
All the bad times that I went through, all the rejections I received, all the good people that was behind me, supporting me, my grandpa that is gone.... it has been an extraordinary journey and I want to do this for the rest of my life.
So far, it has been difficult to promote A Dream Come True in social networks. Nobody has read the book chapters that I've post. I know that I'm new in this group, but I would like to ask you for your support by reading the first chapters of my novel that I'll be posting on my website (link below) Or if you like, reading an ARC.
I have tried with the Latin audience too. I translated the novel to Spanish, my native language, where it has shown a little more response from readers.

I would love to hear from you. Thanks for reading this.
Cheers,
Andrew.

I'm a writer from Toronto, currently working on the third book in my series, called Changing the Rules.
The series is about three friends, young women in their late twenties / early thirties who are trying to figure out their careers and ... men. Of course.
I love writing, I love rewriting. I love finding the right word or phrase. I love talking to people about writing. I love being able to wear a onesie to work.
Dakota Light is a pen name 😉

I am a sci-fi author with two series that I am currently working on. I live in the Pacific Northwest, and I probably read just as much as I write!

I'm a avid reader who is new to goodreads, I also just started a book instagram. I'm looking to branch out in the community and find new authors.
I'm normally a reader of Romance, adult and YA. I also enjoy thrillers, historical fiction, and sci-fi.
I've been reading all my life and I would really like to spread my horizons by trying out new genres. I'm open to all books of all ages, as I can read them with my young siblings. I would prefer physical copies but I'm open to digital copies.
Thank you all so much!

I'm Monique Gliozzi- author of Foresight/Hunted & now my newest Vestige (a ghost story - 4.5/5 star Indie reader review). I'm in the middle of giving 100 copies of Vestige as Goodreads Giveaway. That's the best way to access it alternatively, there's abook funnel you can access

I am a hybrid author who mainly writes historical fantasy. My newest novel is set in 1854 in the Philadelphia Penitentiary, and it involves medical mischief, an animal mage and a very interesting (and rowdy) set of prisoners. If this sounds intriguing, I welcome reviewer queries. Glad to find this group!

I'm read self-improvement books in my spare time and I plan to publish one of my own to introduce graduates from high school and college to growth mindset and self-improvement hobbies.

Hi Zandria. I have two fantasy novels that i would love more reviews for; Exile is a non-epic fantasy adventure with a thread of romance, Shadows of Faerie is a contemporary fantasy set in southern England. I can supply ebooks of either if they sound interesting to you. PM me your email adress.

I'm Maryam a very avid bookworm that spends pretty much all her time reading instead of revisiong
I'm also writing many books which somehow ended up into series (all YA with 2 fantasy, 1 crime/thriller and 1 dark fantasy)

Shake LeCasse is hell-bent on self-destruction. Anything to dull the pain of the one mistake that cost him his family.
Cleo Lee knows better than to try and save Mr. Popular. His lips are high school girl legend, and she's social pocket lint. But her secrets won't keep and her heart can't resist. Even if there’s more at stake than a broken heart.
