Charisse Moritz | 115 comments Welcome Roxxy! As a new author, I'm actively seeking reviews for a mature YA romance, Shakespeare Burning. I would be happy to provide a free mobi, Epub, PDF or kindle copy. Shakespeare Burning currently has a 4.37 rating on Goodreads. I hope you'll contact me at ugarps@yahoo.com. I've included a brief blurb below:
Shake LeCasse is hell-bent on self-destruction. Anything to dull the pain of the one mistake that cost him his family.

Cleo Lee knows better than to try and save Mr. Popular. His lips are high school girl legend, and she's social pocket lint. But her secrets won't keep and her heart can't resist. Even if there’s more at stake than a broken heart.

Up All Night Book Addict (upallnightbookaddict) I am Amber aka Up All Night Book Addict. I think my blog name says it all. I have been book blogger since late 2011, early 2012, so I'm definitely not new to the book community.
I try to be a well-rounded reader. I am always picking up new-to-me authors and reading books that might push my boundaries.

Mark Eklid | 5 comments Hi everyone. My name is Mark Eklid and I'm an author from Sheffield in England, now based in Derby. I recently published my debut novel, a thriller called Sunbeam, https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/1... which has been attracting good reviews so far on Amazon (much to my relief!). I'm new to Goodreads and still trying to work out how I can connect with everyone out there so we can help each other and I can spread the word about my novel. If you would like to review it or if you would like me to take a look at your work, I'm open to suggestions. Please get in touch.

Danielle (bookchara) Hi, all! I'm Danielle. I started a #bookstagram account (bookchara) on Instagram at the beginning of December and have made some amazing connections there. I have been a book lover my entire life and have recently decided to take that passion one step further by being more intentional about providing reviews and sharing my book joy with others. I feel like I have an eclectic taste in books but would say my favorite genre is YA fantasy. I just finished reading and reviewing Matthew Cody's The Peddler's Road (a Pied Piper retelling), if you'd like to check that out. I look forward to potentially working with some of you and hope books continue to bring each of you joy in 2020!

Charisse Moritz | 115 comments Welcome Amber! If you are looking for a new read, I'm always delighted to provide a free Epub, mobi, PDF or kindle edition of my mature YA romance Shakespeare Burning. Please feel free to contact me at ugarps@yahoo.com
Here's a brief blurb:

He’s the boy who wants to disappear.

One mistake and seventeen-year-old Shake LeCasse lost everything. Now there’s no going back and no way to move forward. The once-popular Varsity hockey captain is living in the basement of a grandmother he barely knows, ditching school, avoiding friends and working hard on self-destruction.

She’s the girl nobody sees.

Cleo Lee survives however she can. Lie, cheat, steal, whatever it takes, and saving Mr. Popular isn’t part of the plan. Telling him the truth about the night that destroyed his life is downright dangerous. She needs to keep quiet, be smart and let the guy she’s been half in love with since middle school throw away a future she’d do anything to have. Too bad she sucks at playing it safe.

Hi Amber. I have a novel I think is a little different to the usual. It's essentially a thriller about two friends - one dead and the other slowly killing himself - who come to realise that in order to save themselves, they have to also save each other.
I can make it available for review in whatever format you prefer.
I have an author page (I cannot believe there might be two authors called Mark Eklid!) or you can email me at meklidbooks@gmail.com. I look forward to hearing from you

Airess (diaryofanairess) | 3 comments Hello! My name is Airess and just out of nowhere, a few years ago while on deployment, I fell in love with reading. I just recently started getting into the Bookstagram and BookTube communities. I do post about books on my IG but the majority of my reviews happen in short spurts while reading on Twitter and here on Goodreads. I also get asked for book recommendations because of this, so I try my best to read as many books as I can (although I am not a fast reader) and to be as honest as I can with my reviews. I am mostly into suspense, thrillers and mysteries, but I am open to just about anything. The only genre that doesn't seem to hold my attention is SciFi. I look forward to interacting with and working with everyone. Hopefully, this is the start to some great and lasting relationships.

Hi Airess - been on the deployments, understand how slowly time goes there, so I'm glad you found a way to fill the time. I've written a series of fantasy - if you are a kindle primer reader you can download them for free. Magic's Genesis: The Grey is the name of the first in the series. Book 4 just came out a few days ago - probably be six in all. Would love to get a review from you. (and from anyone else who happens to read this message.)

Jessica | 1 comments Hello my name is Jessica I am 35 and have been reading since I was a young child. I started reading romance books as a teen and would read any I could get my hands on. Now as an adult I know what I like more now. I love contemporary romance books I do not care for historical anymore. I do not care for books written in first person I like third person. I like all kinds of different topics in romance, military, sports, mountain man, family stories where each person gets a book. Some authors I love are Nora Roberts, Julie Garwood, Susan Stoker, Rachel Lacey, Katie Ruggle, Jill Shalvis, and many more. I have thousands of books and try to read daily. I have reviewed many books through Netgalley, Edleweiss and author review teams. I am always looking for new authors or books to check out and would love to reveiw some new ones.

Ryan Krol | 2 comments Hello! I am new to the group, and a first time self-published author. Thank you for having me.

I released Sydrome on paperback on January 14, 2020, and then the Kindle version on January 17. I’m already writing my next book, which will be a novella.

I love writing. I’ve been doing it since I was in elementary school. I used to work in film and did some sports writing. Now I’m doing what I always wanted to do: write books.

When it comes to reading, I actually prefer audiobooks, just because that’s the best way I can retain the information. Plus, I’m always doing something productive, so audio allows me to multitask, even when I’m trying to go to sleep.

Here are some links:

Website: https://ryanwkrol.wordpress.com/

Twitter: https://mobile.twitter.com/ryanwkrol

Syndrome is available in both paperback and Kindle: https://www.amazon.com/Syndrome-Ryan-...

I hope you have just as much fun reading it as I did writing it.

Thank you,

Ryan Krol

message 1489: by Andrew (new)

Andrew Ramz | 4 comments Hi everyone! I'm new in this group. My name is Andrew Ramz and I'm an indie author. A Dream Come True is my first novel. It will be released in May.
I never imagined someday I could write a book. But after listening to a beautiful song that made me imagine the plot of the story in my mind, I asked to myself, "why not writing a book?"
I originally wrote it in English. My dream was to publish my novel in the US.
It took me months to finish writing the novel, but I made constant changes because I was getting rejected by literary agents. (The changes were to make the story better)
I sent around 70 query letters throughout 5 months and everyone said the typical, "it's not what I'm looking for." That's why I decided to self-publish.
If you've sent query letters before, then you know it can be painful. But I believe that all these rejections made me give the best version of myself by showing a great commitment to make a great story.
Last Christmas, I received an email from Readers' Favorite saying that the review of my novel was ready. I was freaking out. My body was shaking as if I was a jelly. Before going to the living room, I prayed and beg God that the review can be good. When I log in in the website and find that my novel received a five-star-rating I broke down in tears. It was a biblical moment I will never forget.
All the bad times that I went through, all the rejections I received, all the good people that was behind me, supporting me, my grandpa that is gone.... it has been an extraordinary journey and I want to do this for the rest of my life.

So far, it has been difficult to promote A Dream Come True in social networks. Nobody has read the book chapters that I've post. I know that I'm new in this group, but I would like to ask you for your support by reading the first chapters of my novel that I'll be posting on my website (link below) Or if you like, reading an ARC.
I have tried with the Latin audience too. I translated the novel to Spanish, my native language, where it has shown a little more response from readers.
https://www.andrewramzbooks.com/

I would love to hear from you. Thanks for reading this.

Cheers,
Andrew.
