Not sure of the rules/regulations, but I would love to find some more reviewers for UNDERTOW. It's a suspense novels with a touch of romance and a touch of legal thriller. Here's the tag: "Locked in the recesses of Kate’s mind lies the truth about a brutal murder. Unlocking it will force her to confront the truth...and her own demons." I will search for a forum for review requests, but if anyone of you might be interested in reviewing a free copy, please reach out. My website is www.christinamorganbooks.com

Hello all- I am Deforest Day, and have a Dark Comedy appearing on Amazon on June 1st.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XYT36Z6?...
BLOWN AWAY is a dark domestic comedy pitting an aging trophy wife against her clueless husband and her sexually awakening daughter.
When a suspicious wife learns her husband was seen kissing his stepdaughter she leaps to conclusions, and widowhood becomes an option. The old wisecrack about a husband trading in a forty for a pair of twenties is no joke when you're the forty.

I have an ARC to swap for a review on pub date.

Hi Kyarra, I just downloaded the Diamonds Among us and look forward to looking it over. My author page isn't up yet (brand new to Goodreads) but my book Waking Up in a Tent: Empty Nest on the Pacific Crest Trail is posted. It's a memoir about a backpacking trip my husband and I took in our sixties--so yes, a definite subtext is maintaining a marriage as we age! I don't know if we're diamonds, though.

Alyse Nennig | 3 comments Hi all!
I'm Alyse Nennig. I recently self published Never Again, volume one in a paranormal romance/erotica series I'm writing, and am looking to meet new people and talk with some reviewers.

In my series vampires are born of magic and disease and seen as victims rather than monsters. Throughout all three books hunters will work with vampires to search for a cure to save the human within them. I'm currently working on volume two: in it they travel to Bohemia to find missing ingredients.

If you are a reviewer or beta reader and Never Again, a dirty vampire romance, sounds like your cup of tea please send me a PM. I'd love to make some connections with reviewers to help get my novel out there and get honest feedback.

Thanks and I look forward to talking with some of you!

Peter Upton Hello to Hayley and everyone else who is new here. If any of you would like to Review my book 'Candles on The Ganges' or just want to read it, it will be free as an amazon kindle ebook on the 28th and 29th April. I have categorized it as a spiritual book and a travel book but I notice that Reviewers are calling it an autobiography which is fine with me. Please have a look at my book-site and see if it is the sort of book that might interest you.
The Back Page:
Following the tragic death of his young son and armed only with a basic belief in life after death the author set off on a six year search for his son. The journey was to take him deep into the spiritual world of mediumship and meditation and as he trained in these, other doors opened with those higher spiritual beings we call angels intervening in his life and guiding him on his journey to understanding.
The author tells the story of this inner journey as he travels through the holy places of India seeking a rishi to take him to a higher level during meditation so that he can again feel his son's presence and know that he is happy. As he travels, the loving people he meets, with their innocence and joyful laughter, warm his heart while his little son sits, just out of sight, saying, "I am here with you dad!" Ultimately he finds what he is searching for in a most unexpected place and from a completely unexpected source.
As you follow the author on his journey he gives clear, logical explanations for much of what we would call the occult or mystic; from ghosts and poltergeists to levitation and psychometry and as he delves into the blurred boundary where science and religion come together he even explains his theory on eternal life.
Candles on The Ganges is about the illusion that we call life and the reality that lies beyond it. It is a book of spiritual growth and understanding wrapped up in an enthralling journey through India.

Charles Frye (charlesefrye) Hi, I recently published my first novel, "The War has Begun". It is biographical/historical fiction based on fourteen years of research about Isaac Frye, who served as an officer in the Continental Army for the entire American Revolutionary War. It is the first of four planned books.

I just found goodreads recently, and cannot believe I had missed this, given that I've always been a reader.

I hope everyone enjoys my book. Thanks,

message 622: by Anthony (new)

Anthony Maguire (anthonymaguire) | 1 comments Hi I am Anthony Maguire, a debut Australian author. If you're into thrillers, you might enjoy my about-to-be published novel Sorry Time. Here's a summary:
Jonathan Chaseling -- 26, bearded, hipsterish-looking -- is driving along a lonely outback road when a kangaroo leaps out in front of him. His car is wrecked and things go downhill from there as he finds himself under attack from a pack of wild dogs. Having survived that, he crosses bloody paths with a pair of violent criminals who’ve murdered two people on a remote Aboriginal community. And then things go REALLY pear-shaped as Chaseling finds himself caught up on a rollercoaster of bloody revenge that takes him to the other side of the globe and to the edge of madness.
• The story is steeped in an ominous, occult sub-current as Dreamtime spirits lash out after the removal of a fabulous opal from an Aboriginal burial ground.
• There’s also a rich vein of humour which nicely offsets the intrigue and mayhem!

Rae Else (raeelse) | 12 comments Welcome all newcomers to the group! Anthony - your thriller book caught my eye. The blurb sounds really exciting - weird and wonderful. I don't often read thrillers but you intrigued me with the David Bowie clip guy and the mortuary attendant, and then had me sold with the Dreamtime spirits! Would love to read and review it if you fancied emailing me a mobi? My email is rae@raeelse.co.uk I've got quite a lot on my tbr list at the moment but would be able to review in time for your release date. Look forward to hearing from you. Have a great day!

Josie Jaffrey (josiejaffrey) | 14 comments Hi everyone!

My name's Josie Jaffrey, and I'm a PNR author. I also run a vlogging book club (hence why my profile is The Gin Book Club...), which reads and reviews all sorts of genres.

I'm just about to publish the fourth and final book in my PNR UF series, The Solis Invicti series. It's set in post apocalyptic London, in which a lethal infection threatens to wipe out mankind. The only people who can stem its advance are the Silver, a vampiric race who offer a simple exchange: protection in return for blood and subservience.

It's a gritty PNR, which is very much the sort of thing I enjoy reading too.

Look forward to chatting to you all!

Josie

J. Marie (tabby8) Hi, everyone! I am Jennifer, a relatively new author and a voracious reader of contemporary and literary fiction.
Calmer Girls is my debut novel, released in 2016 and the first in a two-book series. The sequel, Calmer Secrets, was released in March 2017. Both are contemporary realistic fiction of the Young Adult and New Adult genres, although they would appeal to most fans of edgy coming-of-age stories, young romance and family life.
I am open to reviewing a variety of genres, but prefer realistic rather than fantasy novels.

Raúl | 1 comments Hello everyone!

I'm new at reviewing and figured that it would be nice to connect with other reviewers. I'd love to get some feedback on my reviews, and I'd be more than happy to return the favor. As of now, my reviews are only on here so you can just look at my profile to see them. I'm also up to suggestions on what to read next and for conversations in general, doesn't have to be about books.

I'm looking forward to getting to know you all!

Cory Barclay | 3 comments Hi there, my name's Cory Barclay. I'm a historical mystery writer from San Diego, CA. I published my debut novel Devil in the Countryside in February, about a werewolf investigation in the 16th century (think Salem witch trials but a century earlier), and the sequel will be out soooon.

Happy to be here!

Momchil Yoskov | 3 comments Hello everyone! I'm still new to Goodreads, but I'm slowly getting used to it. Same goes for this group.
My name is Momchil Yoskov and I'm 24 years old. I published my first novel two months ago. I started writing after some everyday annoyances, which ended with my suicide attempt and somehow, I'm still here.
I'd go on, but I feel it would be annoying. If you happen to have any questions, drop me a line. Thank you. :)
