I read mostly non-fiction particularly self-help, personal development, spirituality and memoirs. I do quite a lot of reviews so if you have something in this genre, send me a review copy and I'll add it to my list. I usually get through 2-4 books a week depending on the length. Hi Tania!

If you're interested in reading a sweet YA Contemporary Romance please let me know.

Brenda,

It's definitely a juggling act to write, keep up with social media, continue to read, and market, although I'm not doing much of that, as a self-published author.

Do you need another review? I love the Regency period so I may be interested in your book but I can't review until January/February. Please let me know.

Rosie Christie (rosiechristie) | 4 comments Hi, my name Is Rosie Christie and I am a Canadian Author. I have written for many, many years to help me deal with a sometimes unkind world. I only started to share my writing recently and I just published my first novel, "As Tears Go By", October 31,2016.

I am currently working on the sequel, "Rayen", and hope to publish by April, 2017. Here is a link to my giveaway and please add me as a friend/follow me.

This intense novel is an Eye-Opener to the Treatment of Aboriginal Children who have become Lost in the System.

Inspired by True Events the emotions portrayed by Maria, a beautiful Cree woman raised in residential school, attempting to save her children from the same demise as herself, tears at your heart strings while Kate, the overbearing foster mother rules with an iron fist, a wicked mouth and a razor strop.

This book is compelling which makes it a very hard book to put down. Follow the journey as the fate of Maria’s children, Dolly, Jacob and Rayen, hang in the balance.

Dominique Kyle (dominiquekyle) | 5 comments Hi! I'm Dominique and am writing a series for young adult girls. One of the background story-lines is about a Pakistani heritage Muslim girl who runs away to my heroine because her family have found out about her Indian heritage Hindu boyfriend and her older brother seems to be the honour-killing sort. Since this is not the main theme of the series, just an important sub-plot, I was taken aback to suddenly receive 1,200 likes on a facebook post about it - all from young people in India - Muslim, Hindu and Sikh. The responsibility of that suddenly takes you aback... So I'm looking forward to sitting on both sides of the fence in this group - reading and reviewing other people's work maybe, and holding my breath while others post reviews about mine.

Norman Eng | 2 comments Hi everyone! Like many here, I am fairly new to Goodreads. I write books (actually my first one) on education. I have a new book on how to teach college students, appropriately called "Teaching College: The Ultimate Guide to Lecturing, Presenting, and Engaging Students."

It is aimed at new professors but includes a lot of psychological mindsets, approaches and techniques that can be used by anyone. IN the end, teaching is about communicating, something we could all use (including me!). Anyway, if you're interested in this book, I can send a copy to read and review.

My name is Aisha and I'm a first time author. My first work is an ebook called P.O.F' N: Outrageous Stories of Online Dating. This book is a collection of short stories from people who went on dates with people they met online. These stories are funny and some what shocking. It is being sold on www.amazon.com and www.lulu.com. I've sold several copies but haven't got many reviews. I would love someones honest opinion, good or bad. Thanks in advance!

message 499: by Nick (new)

Nick Swyft | 1 comments Hello everyone, I'll try to keep this short snappy and interesting.
I have a novel out there which is set in the middle east in the last century BC. It's called 'The Lost Legion' and its on Amazon Kindle right now. It's the first part of a trilogy which relates how a young Roman slowly becomes disillusioned with the Republic, eventually turning on his motherland to devastating effect.
Sadly, I don't have any control over when it goes out for free, but I'll let you know when it does.
I'm less interested in a 'review mine and I'll review yours' kind of arrangement because I'd find it embarrassing if one of us really liked the other's and the other.. well, didn't! So I'd prefer people to read it because they want to.
I failed to keep it short and snappy, didn't I, but if you've read this far hopefully you found it interesting.
