The point of view in my book is first person narrative. It is good most of the time and bad some of the time. Having first person is good because the narrator says and explains everything he/she is explaining and how she, in this case, feels about life. You never do not know what the narrator is saying because she’s writing from her own perspective in journal form. She writes in her diary the whole time in the book the book is called Prom by Laurie Halse Anderson. It is also bad because the narrator can be unreliable. An unreliable narrator is when the narrator does not know what’s going on in a certain time because he could be on cautious and anything. This first person narrator has pros and cons. But what do you guys think the first person narrator could be good or bad?

I totally agree! Because Ashley is the narrator we see all of her problems and conflicts. When Ashley describes her internal conflict is is very clear. I think the first person narrator is very great because it gives readers a good sense of what the character struggles with.
That makes a lot of sense now i see that the point of view helps on her internal conflict. I agree when you said the first person narrative is very great because it gives readers a good sense of characters struggle with- Juliet. I agree because if the main character is the person writing in first person she explains everything she is feeling and what she is struggling with
Exactly! When she talks about how crazy she is planing the prom for her school and everything going on with TJ, she is expressing her internal conflicts through point of view.
