This is sad, really sad. I think anyone would be depressed after all their friends are being taken away or committing suicide. I hope James doesn't lose it and get taken away.

Just finished The Program, and wow. Amazing book, but I agree. It's like they don't even want anybody to grieve. I could see The Program being useful to a point, but really, to take away everyone's memories, things that make them them, seems to be a drastic measure! Loved this one, though, and I'm really looking forward to continuing the series!
