I started reading the book. And, before I knew, I had already read thirty chapters. This book is so funny. I'm not sure I like Ryan. (view spoiler)[ All he can say about any girl is whether she is hot or not. And, as Joey said, "You know what, Ryan Dean? You're a fucking hypocrite." Forgive my language. I just wished to voice my thoughts through Joey's dialogue at the end of chapter-30. Same goes for his friends (Seanie and JP). The not-liking-part, not the hypocrite-part. I haven't figured out the latter. (hide spoiler)] But, I like Joey and Annie, though.

I'm about to start chapter-61, I think. My opinion of Ryan hasn't changed much. (view spoiler)[ Making out with Megan while babbling on and on about how much he loves Annie isn't my idea of a good MC. (hide spoiler)] I dislike JP even more. No good friend will ever (view spoiler)[ ask the girl his friend likes to a dance. (hide spoiler)] But, Joey and Annie are still my favorite characters. Though, I don't understand why Annie finds the idea of (view spoiler)[ her and Ryan loving each other as ridiculous. (hide spoiler)]

And, I don't get why the author added the incident of (view spoiler)[ Kevin getting stabbed in the shoulder. It wasn't of much significance except that it created a bit of drama after the rugby match. (hide spoiler)]

I'm up to chapter-90.

This book is HILARIOUS! That poker night was a masterpiece, Andrew Smith! I think you just gained entry into my ever-growing favorite authors list. I still can't believe that Ryan made Chas and Casey drink (view spoiler)[ his piss! And, Screaming Ned...... I wish from the bottom of my heart that no do-gooder ever meets you. (hide spoiler)]

I guess I have started liking Ryan. He has FINALLY grown up as a character. (view spoiler)[ The way he went over to everybody and apologized was so sweet. (hide spoiler)]

I finished the book. And, guess what? I'm (view spoiler)[ heartbroken. Wasn't this book supposed to have a nice, happy and hilarious ending?

You know what, Andrew Smith? You can't just make me love a character so much and then kill him off! It hurts! How could you kill Joey?! He was my favorite character. He was such a sweet person. Never thought bad of anybody. He always stood up for everyone. I HATE Casey and Nick. Though I don't believe in afterlife, yet I wish you both rot in the deepest and the most horrible pits of hell! I'm sorry that this post makes little to no sense. But, I'm so sad right now. I just typed whatever came to my mind. =(
