I loved it!! I have no words to describe how much I loved this book! This series is becoming one of my favorites!
I loved it, too. I was a little wary in the beginning, though. It seemed too familiar, like Hunger Games meets The Selection. But about one-quarter of the way through it really grew its own legs and I couldn't put it down. Fun read!
I did dislike the ending but that's what made the book Red Queen! Especially given the fact that I truly felt something was coming. The brothers just seemed... Odd. As if one was trying harder to be something he was not and the other was oblivious to his surroundings which is exactly how it happened. And, I HATED the Queen. I mean strongly disliked, wanted to tear the pages out of the book when she was mentioned, hated. Haha! Victoria wrote: "that book just broke my trust"
Very good book! I was sucked into the story line pretty quickly. Really excited to read the next book in the series :)
Found a new favourite series :DAbsolutely loved this book!
Hunger games meets X-men meets Game of thrones.
Can't wait to read the next one :)
I've finally found the time to read Red Queen. The first few paragraphs strongly brought to mind several books with pickpockets. But I'm not sure if the main characters in these books really picked pockets! It is fun when these reactions pop up.Adam of the Road by Elizabeth Gray
Crispin: The Cross of Lead by Avi
The Good Thief by Hannah Tinti
Did you notice the words terrorism and terrorist in Red Queen? Are those new words to fantasy, coming from our changing world? I checked and those words are not in The Hunger Games trilogy. I apologize for being a month late with comments.
