I refuse to read or watch that franchise.
They're generally stupid. I am okay talking about them generally, but I feel like they would sound stupider written down.
I also tend to find my reasoning for things a bit ridiculous sometimes. This is one of those times. It is nothing to do with you. If we were talking in person, I would tell you. It is an issue with the medium and not with sharing.

Well, thanks. =) I am pretty sure my reasons aren't the best though. Other than a simple dislike of the genre, there's the it's too popular factor, the love triangles are annoying factor, I'm going to piss off all my friends that want me to see it factor, and the I need to preserve my culturally illiterate image bit also. And yet I love Star Trek, Star Wars, Tolkien, Doctor Who, etc. So yeah

I'm normally not one to protest, but she seems pretty much carbon copy of Sadie!

I love viria's art... Should be canon... The official art sucks tbh.

But her role in the group was the artist
Okay
Can I make her not paint, just draw?
I can make her blonde then and... Can I keep the green eyes?
And I guess I'll emphasize the acting more.
Will this be okay? :)

I can't speak for Ilsa, but it seemed like one of her issues was sort of Pyper's story? So maybe if you changed that up a bit? Like maybe her parents for some reason weren't around so she was maybe raised by some other family members who were restrictive like that? IDK. A thought only.

That's my issue, she's carbon copied, even if you didn't even know I had her. I don't much mind about the appearance, but by changing her to a drawing person, that's not really changing anything.

[ PERSONALITY ]
Deѕcrιpтιoɴ: Pyper is the actress of the group. She is the master of disguise, basically. Not only she can blend in to almost every situation on place, she can also act her way out of problems. She is an artist of lies, an artist of words basically, so she can be very persuasive and almost no one will know how to get through her character shell. She is kind to people in general, she isn't known to be rude. She is very cheerful and outgoing too. She is known for her peculiar humour. Something that usually surprises people is that she may be small, but she is stubborn as heck. She defends herself and her friends with all her might, not caring who she hurts. She can be a bit awkward at first meetings but that can be easily overcome. She isn't quite the most patient of people, and can be pretty reckless and act without thinking. This doesn't always go well. She may be the shortest of the group, but she doesn't like to be critisized for it. Like, prepare to die. She is mostly the one with the weird ideas that would somehow work, but there is always someone with a better offer. This sort of annoys her, but not too much.
[ HISTORY ]
Deѕcrιpтιoɴ:
Pyper had always had relatively rich and busy parents. They were never really there for her, and she was homeschooled. She was lonely, but that was a bit beneficial because she grew up pretty fast. She used to tell little lies, then bigger ones, but nothing too bad. Just enough to make the whole house run around in circles. Let's say she was one manipulative five-year-old. During those years, she'd begun having babysitters because her parents were so busy. Then she met Gray, whose mother was babysitting her. They became friends, despite the two year age difference. Pyper had been forced to grow up quite quickly, so it was only natural she'd be mature for her age. Eventually, Gray met Mysie, whose adopted sister, Zoraida, had disappeared. Pyper went to help them find her, but then they found the body of a little girl. Mysie's family stopped searching, and so did the group, even though Mysie suspected it wasn't Zor. Eventually they met Alexa, and Jeon, and Zor comes back. From that, the group forms. Six kids whose loyalties lie in eachother, no matter what happens. When Jeon dies, it is a horrible happening for the group, especially Zor. The group didn't grow apart though. If anything they grew closer, realising they couldn't loose anyone else. Now something is starting between Mysie and Gray, and family drama is still on for most. The group will be faced with many challenges in the future, that's for sure, but they'll stick together. And conquer.

Okay, and the body'd already been found, but they were looking for evidence that Zor wasn't dead.
My person is already in a relationship with Gabbu's character, sooooo.
But I have a brother for my character. He's twenty-six. If you want, maybe it could be him? That way she would still have connections with the group even if the person isn't a part of it?

i was going to start working more on Gray soon, but i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for their job? i'm really unoriginal and indecisive...
What type of job would you want for them?
Hmmmmm, IDK. . . . I know I'm so helpful.
i probably screwed up somewhere (i'd be surprised if i didn't, especially since i didn't proofread) but i really wanted to get this done. let me know if this is okay, though? sorry for taking so long.

Gray has been instructed since they were young in many different arts. They're skilled in many subjects, among those being the playing of many classical instruments, fighting (with words or fists), and virtually everything technological. Even the things they're not terribly good at, Gray is fairly quick at learning, since they're stubborn and refuse to be bested in even the simplest of things. Gray enjoys spending time with their group of friends, though making (or, more accurately, keeping) any new ones is a bit of a struggle. Gray is charming to the extreme -- they could probably con their way out of a paper bag if they wanted -- but they have a short attention span and find it hard to stick around with anyone they haven't already known a while.
Gray has never been one for shyness or subtlety; they're bold enough and blunt enough to do or try just about anything. They believe if they're going to be honest at all (and they aren't always very honest) they might as well not beat around the bush. Gray also loves the thrill and sense of accomplishment that comes from doing something absolutely stupid and because of the aforementioned stubbornness, Gray won't back down from a challenge. This helps them with their tendencies to flirt very openly and obnoxiously -- and with a high success rate, too. Prior to their secret relationship with Mysie, they flirted with anything and everything that blinked in their general direction, but now they keep to just their partner (except when around friends).
Another thing Gray has going for them is intelligence. They can solve almost any problem put in front of them without a hitch and are often looked to to do just that. However, one of the downsides of the combination of their smarts, confidence, and how ornery Gray is is their refusal to allow others to take the lead, be right, or even attempt assisting them. They've got in in their head that they've got everything under control and don't need anyone else, and they often have to be reminded by their friends that there's nothing wrong with asking for help. Though Gray would never say this out loud, they're terrified of things they don't know or understand and will do anything to alleviate that fear.
Gray is the type of person who jokes to cover up extreme emotions. They know that if they don't laugh, they'll cry, and crying is something that Gray finds weak. Sometimes it's nice to have someone ready with a joke or some sarcastic commentary, but Gray can be annoying around funerals or otherwise emotionally distressing settings.![]()

Gray was born to not just two parents, but four. Their mothers, Leia and Tara had recently gotten married and wanted children, while their fathers, Venkat and Heden, had been engaged for a little while and desired the same. The foursome agreed to have children in vitro fertilization with shared custody once they were born.
Gray was born first, and their sister Yana followed a few hours later, but to a different mother. Their parents never disclosed who was born to whom, since they felt like that would somehow bias Gray or Yana (both still have their guesses). Yana and Gray were passed off as fraternal twins to everyone but close family friends and each set of parents had Yana and Gray for a week at a time. Heden and Venkat got married when their children were three.
All four of Gray and Yana's parents were extremely talented -- Leia with technology, Tara with music, Venkat with writing, and Heden in physical combat -- so their children acquired a variety of skills as well. It became clear when the pair was about five that Yana was more artistically inclined, while Gray adopted a mixture of their parents' skill sets.
Gray was six when one of their mothers died.
Leia was often exposed to dangerous chemicals while on the job (she was a radiologist at the hospital) and there had been a mishap with the radiation equipment. After being improperly protected for years while working at the hospital, Leia died of radiation poisoning. Both sides of Gray's family were devastated, especially Gray. They'd loved working with their mother on different projects on the home computer and hearing her work stories. One less mom meant one less person to be read to by, one less person to help them or Yana when they needed it. One less person to love them.
Tara recovered pretty quickly, though. Within a year, she was married to Kyle and acting as if nothing ever happened. Gray figured it was time for them to move on, too. They even met a new friend through their mother's babysitting, a girl two years younger named Pyper. Despite the age gap, Pyper and Gray grew close, and with Gray's first real friendship also came the realization that maybe they weren't exactly like other girls their age. With Yana, Gray had always assumed it was her who was the weird one and that Gray was normal. If neither Yana or Pyper felt the same way Gray did about certain (mostly gender related) things, well...Gray didn't want to think about what that meant.
Shortly thereafter, Gray and Yana discovered why their mother had been so quick to move on. Tara had been heavily abusing drugs for quite some time, apparently. Kyle found out not even a year into the marriage and not only did he demand a separation, but he took Gray and Yana (who still visited Heden and Venkat every other week) with him. Kyle was a lawyer and so were the rest of his friends, so it really wasn't any surprise. Gray was upset, for now they and Yana had no mothers whatsoever. For a short period of time, every time Heden and Venkat so much as raised their voices at each other, Gray and Yana feared for the worst. Even after Tara and the children ceased contact, Gray kept learning different musical instruments and practicing them in memory of her mother.
It was during this time, when Gray had only recently turned seven, that they met someone around their age by the name of Mysie at a park whilst moping. Mysie was looking for their sister (who was presumed dead), and as someone who deeply loved their sister and had lost both of their mothers, Gray wanted to do whatever they could to help. They even enlisted the assistance of Pyper, though none of them ended up being responsible for Zoraida's return.
Regardless, the three bonded (though Gray and Mysie were closer). Once school started, Gray often ended up helping Mysie with their parents' divorce, made easier by the fact Gray had undergone the same thing not even a year prior. Gray was worried Mysie would stay sad forever when, miraculously, Zor came back. Mysie was so much happier once Zor came back that Gray couldn't help but love Zor in their own way.
Kyle and Gray grew closer as well. Kyle taught Gray and Yana how to win arguments even against him and charm their way out of any situation, both skills Gray definitely would use later on in life. Kyle eventually started dating other people of all sorts of genders, eventually marrying Jillian, who was agender, when the children were thirteen. It was at their wedding, as Gray was putting on their bridesmaid dress, that they realized they weren't entirely female. For the next year or so, they played around with different pronouns and identities, finally deciding on genderfluid. Alexa and Jeon joined the group, and while Gray was originally wary of Jeon since Mysie didn't entirely trust him, they eventually grew to like them just as much as the rest. As they gained more and more friends and a fierce need to protect them, Heden showed Gray more and more about fighting, and they were soon able to fight just as effectively physically as they were verbally. Gray loved all of their friends and wanted to be able to protect them and themself as effectively as possible.
Love. It was a word Gray threw around like it didn't have meaning even back then. When they were fifteen, they became ridiculously flirty, and even though they weren't always attracted to the person, went out with half the city population. Everyone except their friends, and especially not Mysie. Everyone insisted they were in love, but they weren't. Mysie and Gray were just friends. Anything else and things could get dicey. Even with their ridiculous love life, Gray kept their grades up and began managing a bookstore almost immediately after graduating (partially due to Venkat's love for reading and the influence it had on Gray). It was while they were working a rather long shift at said bookstore when they got the news of Jeon's diagnosis. Gray and Jeon had grown rather close, since Gray had played a valuable part in gathering information for Jeon and helping him plan his pranks for Mysie. When he died, Gray felt like they'd lost a vital organ.
They were nineteen when they hacked the city council's computers. Gray'd never been a fan of the groups' council supporting, and after doing something they hated (reflecting over things they couldn't control--Leia's and Jeon's deaths, the separation of their parents) made a rather risky choice. However, it wasn't for nothing, as they ended up discovering that the council was in fact responsible for the death of Zor's adopted mother.
Gray was sickened, but shared the information with their friends. They were like Gray's family, after all. The group changed allegiances, choosing each other over anyone else, but primarily anti-council. It was in this moment, seeing Mysie's determination to stay true to their morals and finally getting how desperate they were for Mysie's approval that Gray realized that they were in love with Mysie -- for real.
It wasn't the same as most of the other relationships Gray had been in which is probably why it had taken them so long to figure it out, but figure it out they did. Shit.
Gray immediately freaked, thoughts flying around their head (though mostly themed around the likelihood of Mysie liking them back and how long it would take their friends to figure it out). Their original solution was to flirt even more obnoxiously than before. It would either cause Mysie to hint at (however subtly) their real feelings towards Gray or for Gray to lose interest in Mysie. Neither option really worked, so Gray decided to just go for it. Not in front of their friends, of course. If their friends saw, Gray would lose, and Gray hates losing. Jillian is probably one of the reasons Gray is so competitive, what with the pep talks they're so used to giving as a teacher. And compete Gray did. They'd squeeze in some sort of flirtation, however obvious the moment they and Mysie were alone. This went on for maybe a month, with Mysie seeming to grow increasingly uncomfortable as the days wore on. But Gray wasn't ready to give up -- not yet.
However, when Mysie told Gray, "It's not fair, Gray! You need to fucking stop!", Gray thought they might cry, as much as they hated it. Gray had been rejected by the person they'd been in love with for god only knows how long before realizing. Then, Mysie spilled about their secret crush on Gray and when the two of them kissed, Gray is pretty sure (while they'd never admit it) that they were crying tears of relief. No one could know about the kiss or the relationship to follow, though. Especially not Zor, Alexa, or Pyper. They couldn't let their friends have the best of them. Pyper did end up walking in on Gray and Mysie while they were kissing, but she was sworn to secrecy. Gray also told Yana, because as much as they and their sister fought, Gray told Yana everything, and Yana did the same. It was how the siblings kept each other in check. But other than those two, Mysie and Gray's secret was safe. For now, at least.

"Me, a flirt? Is that what people are saying?"

Gray looks excellent!
They are not female. Neither Mysie nor Gray are, by gender, female. Their genders are greygender and genderfluid respectively. Both prefer the pronouns s et of they/them/their/themself, so it would be good if you attempted to honor that preference.
Also, please note I am very picky about honoring people's pronoun choices. I personally am fine so long as you don't call me it. However, I realize I also like they, etc better, but I am unwilling to ask people to start calling me that because at least if I don't say, I can't get angry about it.

I suppose I should also add in that I am personally greygender to make that make more sense. XD

Wait, so if someone is talking about one of them, which is correct?
Hey, look at that Mysie, they is...
Hey, look at that Mysie, they are...
You call people by gender, not by their sex. Like I'm greygender, not female. It's because gender is a personal choice and not forced on someone. Like you wouldn't say an athiest is Christian even if they're born into a Christian family and baptized at birth.
The second is correct. The only difference from the regular usage of they/their/them, etc, is "themself".

to piggyback off what elf said, sex is more what's in your pants, while gender is what's in your mind. there are 2 binary genders, male and female, and a lot of nonbinary ones (genderfluid, graygender, etc) too. the recognition and acceptance of there being more than 2 genders and people identifying with genders that aren't their sex is relatively new, so most people are (to their knowledge) cisgender (meaning their sex and gender match up).
