~~Rules; Group Rules~~
[ 1 ] Be Active!
This means, one post per day, don't leave the group without telling me so that I can either delete your characters and your posts, or give your Characters up and delete your posts still, so please, be active.
[ 2 ] Be Responsible and Respectful!
Don't be such assholes, please follow rules and listen to Moderators please and thank you, now as for responsibility, I'd take it you know how to make characters and stuff, now please dint cause problems or act like children.
[ 3 ] Swearing!
Well, we all swear here and there, and so do characters, but I'd stick to the swear words the characters use, plus, if you swear, don't direct it at any other members, or you'll be getting a fair warning for it.
[ 4 ] Sex!
No! No! No! No! Just no okay, that is utterly disgusting, revolting, take it to pm okay, don't do it in the threads, nothing pass the kissing or occasional make out. But just no sex in the threads or anywhere else okay.
[ 5 ] Power-playing!
Power playing occurs in role playing, and it's when you control someone else's character, as well as your own, without the other person's permission
Say that I play Bob, and someone else is Susie.
Bob watched Susie as she started to walk away. he ran up to her, the girl of his dreams, and yelled, "SUSIE, DON"T LEAVE ME!" She turned around, and glared at him, with resentment in her eyes, before walking up to him, slapping him, and then walking away again
As you can see, if this were a post, I'd be typing Bob's actions, as well as Susie's. The fact that I'm typing Susie's actions is power playing.
[ 6 ] Godmodding!
God Modding" is in essence when someone’s character has the ability to do practically anything without limits or boundaries. And example is when they simply cannot be harmed by any and all means other RP-ers try.
-It can be killing or injuring a character without the player's express permission.
-It can be when they simply can’t be hit and dodge all attacks or anything for this matter aimed at them.
-It can also be using other characters that other people RP with. In other words, if you do not RP as
Legolas, then you cannot have Legolas say anything, or do anything, without the player's express permission.
The absolute worst is when they make out another character to be what they’re not, just to make their own character seem superior. They make others seem weak, screaming for help, when they’ve made it quite clear about their advantages and strengths. This is called power-play. It’s a strain of God-Modding, but instead of just being irritating, it’s offensive to boot.
This is a prime example of God Modding:
Player A: Punches Player B
Player B: Dodges attack, grabs Player A and throws him. Player A flies at Player B, who warps behind him and slashes Player A in the back.
[ 7 ] Proper Spelling, Grammar, Vocabulary, Capitalization and Punctuation!
We are not savages, we are not dumb or stupid, we are also not idiots, we know how to use this stuff, we learn this stuff all the time, from preschool to college, to life, nothing can stop is from using this stuff. use it properly.
[ 8 ] Fun!
Whp doesn't love fun?! It's well, fun, there is nothing better then having fun, it's always fun to have fun, all you have to do here is just have fun, roleplay, talk, read, listen, blah, blah, blah, there is a ton of things to do here if you look around.
[ 9 ] Patience!
We all have lives okay, so be patient for other and with others, there are times where some people might not reply quick enough or they might not reply within your time frame, but that doesn't mean you act like they have to reply to you that fast.
[ 10 ] Follow!
You do know how to play follow the leader right? Of course you do, you played it all the time when you were little with your friends, well imagine this set of rules as the ga,e Follow the leader, you will follow each and every once of these rules or you'll get and severe consequence.
[ 11 ] Listen!
Listen to the mods please, they're will be four, feel free to ask them questions and suggestions, but please, listen to them if they say no or if they tell you if you did something wrong, I'd like this group to be problem free.
[ 12 ] Characters!
Me or one of the others mods, must approve your character, no matter what you think you can do, you may not roleplay with your character until we approve your characters. Also, please make males as well as females, don't even think of leaving males out of this, for every two females made, you must make and male.
