Katja Vartiainen | 36 comments HI,
I have now twice been faced with that out ebook version's price on Kindle Amazon is too high! It is supposed to be 6.45$ but is 8$. I contacted them and first email had a screenshot of the correct price. so somehow it had changed back to the real one. day later, I check the price, again 8$! Anybody else had this problem? And it apparently has nothing to do from what country I check out the Amazon.com price, since the price was the correct one later, after my complaint..HELP? Is there some logical explanation?

I see $6.45 on the US Amazon. On Amazon Canada and Australia it's in the $8+ range.

April Wilson (aprilwilson) Are you talking about Kitchenelves Revolution? I see it as $6.45 in the US Amazon.com.

Christina McMullen (cmcmullen) If you are not in the US or any country in the .com market, you will see a different price if you go to amazon.com. Hakon is seeing the price plus taxes of 30% I believe. You will only see the correct price if you use a proxy that makes Amazon think you are located in the US. I would advise against that despite what others may say.

Katja Vartiainen | 36 comments Hi everyone,
yes, i finally got a clear answer from Amazon, and it is as Christina said: the price is correct if you use the Amazon of your country- so I need to use Amazon.de, from USA one uses amazon.com., and so on.. So mystery solved , than goodness! Their first answer was just a screenshot of the price whenlooked from in USA at Amazon.com, that wasn't very convincing. Hopefully this helps other not to freak out as I did : )
