When your friend asks for help , without helping you!.

When this happens, it is hard to trust, but give the friend another chance. If they don't appreciate or reciprocate, then it is time to end the friendship.
If you are asked for help by a friend, why would you consider what they can do for you? Have a missed something? :- o)If you have asked for help and the friend failed to help, set an example and comply with the friend's request and afterwards perhaps cool the friendship if you think your are being taken for granted.
As Paul said, friendship is a two way street.

I think you are right ....
Someone else has helped, helps another friend ....
Every one according to his ability
So why do you think so?
I need to repair my idea
Right?

I think you need to be extra careful who you accept as being a friend. Best of insight.
Right?"
Are you asking about helping you with your book?If I can help another author by reading/reviewing their book, and I think it's well written and a genre I enjoy, I will do so. They can't reciprocate since Amazon/Goodreads frown on swapping. Perhaps someone else will read my book and review it. Karma.
I have gotten myself into trouble by asking for advice/beta read of my book, then agreeing to read & review the person's book only to find that I can't really give it many stars because of poor writing, etc. I try to avoid such situations.
I've also seen review "swaps" where author A gives author B's book ★★★★★ then after author B only gives author A's book ★★★☆☆ goes back and slams them by changing to a ★☆☆☆☆ rating.Goodreads and Amazon now just don't allow review swaps, exchanges or assignments between authors or groups of authors. Partly because of activity like I described. But, also because in the U.S. (on all sites hosting or appearing to host reader reviews) it's considered consumer fraud unless the payment via service (a return review and possibly also payment via a free product/book) is disclosed. Authors on goodreads almost never disclosed the review service received or even if got book free when goodreads did allow, opening them up to FTC complaints and fines even if not getting their own review attacked if not 5-starring other authors' books or worrying about how to phrase their review to still be honest while avoiding ...
Dear Victoria: you have a powerful experience, but have you tried the common writing? Writes that the book two? A certain authors will be more active ...***********

There are sites concerned with a simple explanation of all the books.. As for the issue of the exchange of books, this is something that needs accuracy, it is better to be a demand for each one of them a specific request.
The advent of social websites, including literary sites, has redefined the true definition of the word friend. The term is now freely and mutually applied to people who have never met and do not actually know anything about each other. As a result, those who think they have a lot of friends just think they have a lot of friends. Do not confuse the cyber world with reality.
It is important to be honest with books and writing. Sometimes it is hard to do that. Writing requires a stringent ability to be honest and be willing to deal with a lot of things that] people often cannot deal with.. You will have to deal with it yourself. Just remember that and tell your story. ]
JimYes that's right, thank you.

Yes the real writer and man , is the only sincere, or who tries to do so.
thank you too.
As writers we need to be supportive to each other and also make it so that when we do the edit for our books we have the stamina to deal with publishers who add errors to books. This is very common and we must correct these errors so that indie publishing has a better reputation. There is always a price for freedom. MJ

It is very strange and annoying!.
It makes you lose trust, and no longer asks for help.
Moreover,it makes you lonely...
Because you can not trust again any one of people.
It is a bad thing...
Must to get a new friend even if it may take a while to find one.
Advice:
Must be everyone's friend, but be aware ...
