Tahseen Nakavi It is a deeply absorbing narrative about a sensitive counselor who cares. He is packed off with all the answers in a whirlpool of conflicting emotions after a climbing accident that takes place on Mount Everest.

`Because’ is about Roberto Sanchez who finds it difficult to cope with the tragedy of losing his legs as a result of an avalanche on the highest mountain in the world. He visits the office of his therapist every day, only to come out with more dreary thoughts than the previous day. His family is going through the trauma, seeing him suffer. The book brings the readers to understand much about compassion, courage and self realization. It is a worthwhile journey for a sensitive reader.

The author has used the weapon of dialogue quite brilliantly in this narrative. Langedijk has a good gift of converting simple events into lessons in life that may be metaphorical. This is a narrative that can be described as thought provoking. I am sure that while reading this book, the reader will be able to identify with his or her own journeys that can stir up your emotions within and change the way that you look at life. It is that same old quest of how you can become a better person and lead others by example.
