NotForLong | 32 comments Ta-dah! Any plot ideas? I can offer some if needed. :)

Oh, and here's additional information, I always forget to put the basic stuff about me:

-I'd prefer romance theme as a baseline, but the plot can really stem out from that in any direction, as far as it being supernatural or realistic or inbetween ^_^

-I prefer to play the girl as far as it being more enjoyable, but I'm not bad at playing a guy (in my opinion). Therefore, I can either play the girl, or do doubles.

-I don't really have limits, except I'm pretty sucky at love triangles and M/M or F/F, even though I fully support it in real life. It can have sex, gore, cursing, whatever, it doesn't really bother me. If you have any limits or rules though I will gladly abide by them. :)

-I tend to be self-critical so at times replies can be delayed, but I try my best.

NotForLong | 32 comments Cool, doubles are fine. :) What we'd probably do is either do two ideas, but keep them separate from one another, or have all our OCs in the same town and some be friends and/or enemies, but not entirely involved in each other's romance plot, since I don't have any plot ideas that come together with four people.

Here's some short ones:

-doctorXmental patient
-best friendXbest friend brother
-emoXpopular
-boarding school
-childhood friendXchildhood friend
-rivalXrival (sorta like the old story where they start out as rivals but start liking each other and yeah)
-ghostXliving person
-penpalXpenpal (maybe they could be meeting for the first time or something in person when the roleplay starts?)
-camp counselorX(teen) camper

Here's some long ones:
-Person A has just moved in next door to Person B. They chat slightly, and then assume, like normal neighbors, they'll be polite but not truly know much about one another. However, Person B comes from a broken home, and when he or she discover their father is getting out of prison, the individual become very afraid. They can't go to friends because they've always worked so hard to make it seem like the family situation was safe, keeping it a secret. Based on first impressions, the day Person B's father gets out of prison, they head over to Person A's house with some excuse why they needed to visit for a while (ie, they got locked outside their house and it was raining or something). Person A, being a nice neighbor, lets Person B in. The visits start to happen more and more often with odd reasons, but they begin to become friends, and they begin to learn the shadows of each other's past. Eventually they fall in love.

-Sort of a spin on Aladdin I guess: It is set in modern day. There's a princess that grows up constantly protected, never to allowed to leave the castle. However, as she grows older, she continues to get more and more curious about the outside world. One day, the family hires a someone to be a worker (can be have the job of stable hand, a guard, etc.). He's a bit temperamental and impulsive, and rather different looking than the together people there (ie, could either just dress casual, or could have piercings and tattoos, sorta punk-ish). Basically, the princess, with her curiosity, starts to get to know the new worker, and ask him about the outside world. He eventually decides he's going to sneak her out to see the real world and live a little. They, despite it being entire forbidden, fall in love eventually, and so on.

-A soft-spoken girl always drifts around town, and often watches cars as they go past in front of a coffee shop. The boy that works at the coffee shop takes notice to her often alone, and they start talking. They become friends as time goes on. However, she never often looked at him, always looking at the cars racing by. She finally confesses that for some time she'd been greatly depressed, and had always wanted to be able to hurl herself into the road, get it over with, and has a date to die. The boy becomes determined to do all her can to make her happy again. Can he before it's too late?

-A boy and girl become best friends through online websites with pen names. They tell each other secrets they'd never told anyone, and really brighten other's life. However, what they don't know is that in real life, they pass each other everyday, in the same town, at the same school. Not only that, but they are often rivals who get under each other's skin in real life. What will they do when they discover that the person they'd befriended online, in which they know many secrets of, is actually their nemesis?

I don't really have a preference on any plot idea haha.

NotForLong | 32 comments Sure! We can either do both, just for example the boarding school your OC would be the girl and I'd play the guy, and in the camp one I could play the the girl and you could play the guy.

Or we could just go with the boarding school one and do something where we each play a girl and a guy in that setting.

Or we could just go with the camperXcamp counselor, and to add to that, and to make it a double, we could do camperXcamper from a rival camp or something, so it's all in the same setting.

NotForLong | 32 comments ...I'm not sure if that makes any sense haha

message 5: by NotForLong (new)

NotForLong | 32 comments Hm...well how about the camp once, since I'm about to do a school type one anyway :)

message 6: by NotForLong (new)

NotForLong | 32 comments Sorry for the wait, Coral! Sure! So are we each making a guy camp counselor and a girl camper of what? :)

message 7: by NotForLong (new)

NotForLong | 32 comments Yeah, that sounds good. So which roles do you want to have out of those four for playing both a guy and girl? ^_^

message 8: by NotForLong (new)

NotForLong | 32 comments I can if needed, but I'd prefer being maybe the guy councilor and the girl camper? So there's more contrast in roles? But I can totally adjust, we can find a middle ground for sure, just voicing that. :)

NotForLong | 32 comments Wait, what? I'm so sorry, I'm confused (happens a lot xD ). So I questioned if I could be guy counselor and girl camper, and then I think you read it differently than intended. Going off of what I said, it'd mean you'd play the girl counselor and the guy camper, not both campers.

Which we totally don't have to do, I can make changes in the roles, I just wanted to clarify what the above thing was ^_^

message 10: by NotForLong (new)

NotForLong | 32 comments That's okay, we all get that way! Do the roles sound alright to you?

message 11: by NotForLong (new)

NotForLong | 32 comments Yeah, me too! :D OC time?

message 12: by NotForLong (new)

NotForLong | 32 comments *face palms* I totally get what I just did now. If I played the girl camper and the guy counselor...that wouldn't work because the guy counselor is supposed to be the girl camper's crush. So essentially, we'd be playing our own crushes...oh.

Okay, idea: so we can do doubles, but how about we do one side summer camp and one side boarding school instead, like I mentioned but somehow dismissed earlier? So basically, for example, hypothetically, the rules could be:

Me:
Boarding School Guy
Girl Camper

You:
Boarding School Girl
Guy Camp Counselor

Hahahaha, so confusing. ...Does that work? And the boarding school and summer camp plots would be completely separate from each other.

message 13: by NotForLong (new)

NotForLong | 32 comments Cool! Yup. Just so I know, should they be brief or longer?

message 14: by NotForLong (new)

NotForLong | 32 comments Okay, I'll probably do brief just so we can start, but sometimes that changes after I start writing haha

message 15: by NotForLong (new)

NotForLong | 32 comments I'm drawing a blank as far my OC's personalities, so I think I'll wait and see what your's are like and work off of those to make one that blinds well

message 16: by NotForLong (new)

NotForLong | 32 comments Okay, I've got something now :)

Boarding School Guy
Name: Sebastian Ross
Age: 17?
Grade: 11th?
Typical Letter Grade: Cs, he's smart enough to be able to quickly understand things, he just doesn't care much about school, and is known to talk too much in class.
Appearence: http://justagirlsthing.files.wordpres...
Personality: He's very much a joking type of person, lighthearted pretty often, smooth in conversation. Sebastian doesn't tend to stress about much, and has a short attention span. When bored he tends to cause trouble or not be good at sitting still. He is typically a fairly spontanious and fun to be around though. Sebastian is outgoing and doesn't know a stranger.
History: His past isn't a sob story, but at the same time, it was never completely happy. His parents are a pair of workaholics, and before he was put on ADHD meds when he was thirteen, his high energy often was viewed as obnoxious. He was often bullied for it. His older sister ran away from home with some boy and he hasn't gotten a letter since. Sebastian started fresh at the boarding school in highschool. There, he fits in pretty well, probably just a step below from being popular. Still, from being younger and having a lonely past, it's hard for him to truly trust people. He's the type of person that looks sad only when no one is looking.
Other: Nope.

Summer Camper
Name: Taryn Johnson
Age: 16? 17? The oldest she can get and still make sense being a teen going to camp haha.
Appearance: http://data3.whicdn.com/images/215414...
Personality: Taryn tends to be the sweet, occasionally shy, good-girl type. She is very passive, and is rather people-pleasing. She flies under the radar. However, Taryn also is the type of person that feels a lot of emotion whether it be really happy, angry, or really down, and picks up on how other's feel around her. She likes to be busy or take risks, or else she begins to get restless, and question if she is living life the best she can.
History: It was honestly pretty plain. She has grown up in the country, was home-schooled. Taryn was relatively close with her grandfather, who always talked about taking chances, so when he passed away, she decided that would be what she'd do. Her younger brother, Garrett, wanted to go to summer camp, so she went with him. Taryn wanted to try something new.
Other: I'm not used to playing softer spoken girls, so I'll see how it goes for a change :)
