OMG McNulty.... I nearly cried when I read about his last words...
Things are getting crazier and I can't seem to put the book down right now.

t. (lavidaenquotes) At first I didn't quite get it, when I read his eyes weren't blue anymore. My first thought was he had became one of those psychos, so I Re read that part and was relieved in away, that he still had the mind to stop the process before it was too late, which is what I had hoped for him. I mean, it's sad, and of course I would have preferred head survived. But being exposed, he had no chance. As he said, he left being himself, and not a mindless psycho.

Jenny | 10 comments I almost cried too! Poor kid. I can't put the book down. At this point, I'm flying through it.

Jenny | 10 comments Also, anyone catch The Princess Bride references?

Jenny | 10 comments I caught "As you wish" and one of the pilot's nicknames was dread pirate. I also have a feeling the ships being called dreadnaughts might be a little nod as well. Did I miss anything?

Biblio-Athena (athraja) | 21 comments OK legit tears came into my eyes when I read McNulty's recording. So sad!!! That was such a cute and funny friendship. I'd imagined he'd be the best man at Ezra and Kady's imaginary wedding, calling her Astro princess in his toast and how Ezra had joked that he was screwing his sister. I'm glad Kady got to know him in some way at least.

AIDAN's poetic monolgues are freaky. I'm never going to trust anything that functions on AI. Brrrr.....creepy

But one thing in its monokgue struck me. The part abt machines functioning on their own except for the weapons, and how it's easier for man to take the role in murder. Anyone else think of drones?
