Sarah Rende The Demon King
In my point of view for The Demon King, I see a magical adventure with danger and unknown around every corner. Thoughts?

Naila keep reading the rest of the series each book gets better as you are more immersed in the story and you get more attached to the characters
and you're right it is an adventure and you'll loved every bit of it, I did

Rebecca The point of view is interesting because it switches between Raisa and Hunts Alone. It makes the characters more understandable to the reader and lets the plot develop and the reader get both sides of the story. From a magical perspective and a non-magical perspective.

Kin This my favourite series, they're just so fun and adventurous! I'm so glad the author is making a spin off series :)

Rebecca WHAT!!!!

Naila I was jumping up&down when I saw this

Sarah Rende Awesome! I literally can not wait!

Sarah Rende Hey guys! I'm discussing round and flat character, round meaning changing and flat meaning staying the same. I think Han and Raisa are round characters because of the situations they are being put through and how they have to get around them. I fell as if Dancer is a flat character because he is always so stiff but has his funny moments. Thoughts? (Also just started Exiled Queen!)

Kin Like I think Raisa and Han had to go through events to make them become stronger and better. Dancer was always strong, but I think he becomes stronger as the books go. I think Micah is pretty flat though.

**I don't think what's at the bottom is a spoiler for this series, it's about the Shattered Realms but it's kind of about Han**

(view spoiler)

Sarah Rende I thought Micah was round because of when The Bayer's forced Raisa to marry Micah and he said that "it wasn't his choice" so I thought that he changed. But looking at it now I realized how he didn't and how is is a flat character

Rebecca Bird is definitely a round and flat character, she overcomes her dislike for wizards. Han and Raisa both are round and dynamic characters because they both change their views of wizards and the clans. Raisa's sister though is a flat and static character-she doesn't change through the whole book.Micah though, is a round character who just wants to be with Raisa, and is very static.

Sarah Rende You are absolutely right Rebecca, but I'm not so sure Micah is round, if he only wants to be with Raisa, wouldn't that mean he is a static or flat character?

Rebecca Oh yeah, your right. I think I got them mixed up for a second. opps

Rebecca How far are you in the book? Because after you finish this series, Legend is an awesome book also.

Sarah Rende Which book? I finished the Demon King and on page 6 of The Exiled Queen. Really interesting so far.

Rebecca I love the exiled queen. What part are you up to, I don't want to give anything away.
Also Fire Dancer becomes a more dynamic character by the end of the series and all of the characters become almost exactly like what their ancestors were

Sarah Rende Awesome! I am up to the part where Micah is questioning Gillian about Raisa and Han

Rebecca Tell me when they foucus on FIRE DANCER!!!!!!!

Sarah Rende Will Do!

Rebecca OMG Raisa and Hunts alone are SO foil characters. They are like the exact opposites. but yet they are one of the same. I feel that they are like Day and June in Legend.

Sarah Rende Yea I was thinking that too, but I think Han and Dancer are more foils for each other because Dancer acts so grown up and serious (like stiff in a way), and Han is more outgoing and out there. But I can totally see how you think Han and Raisa are foils too because compared to Raisa, Han is like a mouse (doesn't want to be seen or heard), but Raisa wants to be out there and see everything. How did you think they are foils?

Rebecca Well I think that Raisa is practicing to be a warrior and Han is practicing to be a wizard (SPOILER ALERT SPOILER ALERT) and Raisa is rich while Han is poor. Raisa is outgoing as well as Han and they are both a little careless.

Rebecca What happened to everyone. I like NEED to talk about them. BTW if you like this book, you will LOVE Once Upon a Time-the TV show. it is on Netflix

Rebecca Hey the new topic is Dialogue

Rebecca I love how these characters talk and think like an actual person would
