The point of View in out of my mind is almost like a journal because the main character melody explains her thinking in the book from her moms perspective and through her dads

in out of my mind by Sharon draper the narrator witch is the little girl melody who is autistic shares her point of view in the story by explaining everything through her own perspective and how she presents it.
This book is in the first-person. The author uses words that make us feel like we are talking about ourselves.
