Mine is 50 too :) Last year it was 25 and I went wayyyyyy over that!

Lynne My target is 55 not going very well on 2nd book and am like 14 books behind schedule hopefully I can do it.

Shona (shonalee) | 109 comments I thought I was doing well over the last week or two but this week but we had abit of a family emergency so I haven't had chance. Luckily I'm still only 3 behind so I may be able to catch up.

message 54: by Ash (new)

Ash My goal is to read 72 by the end of the year, and so far I have read 22 which is 2 books ahead :)

Jasmine20 | 88 comments How do you tell how you are doing (your progress) do u just have to figure it out? Thanks

message 57: by [deleted user] (new)

I just went straight for it and am doing 100. This now seems slightly "off-the-wall" because of the amount of school work and revision. I WILL DO IT THOUGH! Xxxx

message 58: by Emma (new)

Emma Dalby | 4 comments Mine was originally 52 (so a book a week) however it's not even May yet and I'm already on my 32nd of the year, so I've upped it to 100. A-levels be damned, reading is still my top priority.

message 59: by Jaz (new)

Jaz | 3 comments I am a slow reader so I set mine as 12 but I have already read 8 so if I complete it I will probably hire it to about 14 maybe 15.

message 60: by Chloe (new)

Chloe (chloesinhercorner) Jasmine20: You can check your progress on the little challenge box on your profile. To make a book count just enter the dates you read it between on your review. I have all of my books on a separate read-2014 shelf too so I can tell if any aren't showing. You might not be able to check your progress on a mobile app (I can't). Hope this helped in some way!

Lian (liansverden) | 4 comments I'm a slow reader and I've a ton of school and such so I've set mine for 20 ._.

message 62: by Ailish (new)

Ailish Mines 40 so it's slightly more than 1 a week, I don't like it though, I don't think reading should be a competition or a race, I should do it because I enjoy it which is why I like reading, plus I have my GCSE's this year so I should concentrate on those and read in my breaks :)

message 63: by Mia (new)

Mia | 1 comments I am a quick reader and read the Fault in Our Stars in 2 and a half hours, as an example. I ate my goal to 100 books this year because I have read two and a half in the last week or so. I hope I can complete it!

message 64: by Lisa (new)

Lisa Kokx (lisakokx) | 24 comments I don't have a goal and I'm not setting one. Why? Because I would stress and that would take the joy of reading away. It would also be very difficult, because school takes time to read away, but also wants me to read more.

message 65: by Julia (new)

Julia (skogsuggla) | 7 comments Originally my goal was 50, but I had a period where I just couldn't read anything for a few weeks, so I dropped the number to 30 so I wouldn't get so stressed! Now I'm six books ahead of schedule though so I think I'm okay :)

message 66: by Shona (new)

Shona (shonalee) | 109 comments I'm still 4 behind so thinking to changing my challenge to less!

message 67: by Bilge (new)

Bilge B (aystiseftali) | 7 comments I set it as 100 but school is taking so much time because you know finals and papers and stuff, so i am behind my schedule but i think in the summer i will handle it.

message 68: by Jaz (new)

Jaz | 3 comments I have just finished my 11/12 book so I decided to up my goal to 14 instead

message 69: by Mona (new)

Mona (mona111) Am I the only one who actually does not like to read books as a challenge? I set up my goal just because I thought it would be interesting to know how may books I read in one year. Now I feel a bit pressured to read books more quickly because i actually want to reach my goal.. So I end up reading a book in two or three days, sometimes less. I'd like to take time to read and enjoy books more, but it's my own fault really :D. Anyway, my goal is 50 right now but I might end up reading about 60 because I'm already ahead.
